I am a racist? Well would you please support your claim or is it just because you read or heard that Royal (even it might be Royal one to ten) is a racist? I bet 100 EU dollars (Originally Posted by JT Rock

By the way....do you remembet the good times when Lacy was KOed by Brian Magee, Evans Ashira and Gaidarbek Gaidarbekov? - in the amateurs it was almost as in his pro - he lost every single time he stepped it up....
CC for the major proportion of your posting, JT....kinda got a little messy towards the end though!!Originally Posted by JT Rock

Ok again it dosent suprise me that you missed the point of my whole post and brought up more things that are irrelevant>>>>Just to support you hatred.....you are not well liked at that is rellevant please go away
Your F****** idiot! If you claim that I am someting you better support it your boxing horse! Lacy has only proven that he has a US passport and he obviously fool you too! Your simple point is to attack Royal not to defend Lacy, loser!Originally Posted by JT Rock
Thanks CC.....I know I stooped to his level..I modified it thoughOriginally Posted by miles
To be fair to you Royal. You do admit that this next fight is the benchmark where we can see if Lacy is to be a player in the division or not. You dont like Lacy as a fighter we know. Your suggestion that the Reid result was a gift is somewhat stupid. Reid wanted to continue but was clearly being overwhelmed.Originally Posted by 4YOU
So how will you evaluate Lacy if he shows improved skills and stopsTsypko convincingly? A player or not?![]()
To be honest I never saw anyting from Lacy that I liked, but if he defeats Tsypko I better put him in my top five SMW - my best greetings for Lacy to chose a guy like Tsypko as his come-back fight - if Lacy had boxing skills as his balls he would be P4P no. 1.Originally Posted by miles
Fair enough. Ive no issue with that response and that was the sensible answer I was hoping I would hear.Originally Posted by 4YOU
Im not a big Lacy man myself. I always backed Calzaghe to beat him despite the build up. And so for me too this is a key fight in deciding if he can really do it or not. Remember, he is nearly 30. Not much time to develop those skills! But the power will always be there.

you bring up who Lacy has lost to in the amateurs and say that everytime he stepped up he lost.
Shane Mosley lost to Artur Grigorian in the amateurs I guess that means he wasn't on Artur's level
Tyson lost to Henry Tillman so I guess that means that Tillman went on to become the greatest Heavyweight there ever was.
Oh wait...didn't they fight after the douglas fight? Yeah Tillman did real good![]()
Too true, the amateurs are irrelevant when talking boxing. PRO boxing....Its a whole different ballgame...Originally Posted by Starr
Rather then see Lacy win via power punches (hooks) I would much rather see him win some rounds by boxing and moving. As I stated before I know he can punch and all that, now I want to see a different style at least I wanna see that during this training he worked on other aspects of the game.....
Like a jab?Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
I don't know if he'll ever really be a boxer mover but he could definitely refine his style. Jab his way in, straighten up the right hand, he throws the uppercuts and hooks pretty well but straighten the right hand and focus on the jab. Also focus more on bodywork. For a guy with an inside fighters build, he's not the greatest in fighter, needs to keep his hands up on the inside (look at the Ruben Williams fight, left hand down by his waist on the inside, not good), and rip to the body. But jab your way in and throw some straight rights from the outside.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Probably true, but imo if a fighter is stopped in the amatuers it is a bigger indicator of things to come in the pros... Like those other ones you bring up,Tyson was robbed against Tillman who basically just ran his ass of. MOsley probably didn't get stopped by Grigorian.. And was very young as an amatuer.. I don't know enough about Lacy's amatuer career but he didn't even turn pro until he was 24 or 25. If he was stopped multiple times against good amatuer fighters even though he was over 20.. It really does have a bearing imo.Originally Posted by miles
