i think carl froch is gonna lose that 0 if he steps up in opposition next year. if he faces lacy, manfredo jr, or even danny green he's gonna lose it. i think brian magee showed that he can be hurt and a fighter with a bit more class will nail him.
Now I completely agreed with you regarding Hopkins losing both times to Taylor, but Froch losing to Mafredo

I don't see that happening, Froch's defense aint all that hot but he has a great chin, bags of stamina and more pop in his hands than anyone Manfredo has ever faced.

I doubt the fight would ever happen but if it did I'd be going for a Froch late stoppage, round 11 or 12.

Manfredo is ok against the Spina's and Pemberton's of the world but against anyone who can box and who isn't technically dead he struggles. Froch would eat him up.

    carl froch
    joe calzaghe
    jermain taylor
    mikkel kessler
    ricky hatton
    miguel cotto
    floyd mayweather
    demetrius hopkins
    valuev
    calvin brock
or anyone else ya can think of
People here thought I was crazy the last time I predicted that Brian Viloria would be the 1st to loose his '0' no one believed me then weeks later he looses.... I just judged him and the rest of the fighters based on their last performances and skills a mixture abd to me Viloria looked VERY beatable against Aguirre....

Anyway!! from this list I'm gonna with Brock....

Brock loses his by KO to Wladimir Klitschko
Valuev will be the last to lose his as Don King ain't about to let him fight a LEGIT heavyweight
I can't see Hatton losing his to anyone other than JLC or Cotto at 140, at 147 Baldomir would be ALL WRONG for him
PBF, the talent is out there to stop him but he's been on a roll for so long most guys are beat before they get in the ring with him

i see things as far as hatton goes very similarly to you... i agree that its possible hatton looses to jlc or cotto, but i also say its possible hatton beats them both too... very close rough exciting fights though..
not that i believe hatton will meet cotto as i dont beleiev cotto will come back down to 140..
and for the same reason i dont believe hatton will meet baldo or cotto at 147 cos he has stated he will only go to 147 for a big bout with mayweather!
and your pretty much right on the mayweather ricky fight... he deffo can but im not sure he will....

Very true....I'm not hating on Ricky, I just think he's more suseptable to being outboxed or outpowered.

    In agreement Bilbo.

A fighter's biggest assets are his whiskers & power, which Froch has in spades.

With regards his pedigree, he trains exceptionally hard and is always in peak condition when he climbs through the ropes, as is pretty obvious from his build.

Perhaps he could be 'out-hustled' over 12 rounds, but i don't believe he'd be stopped.

Froch looks as though he throws fights away, rather than come from behind if that makes any sense - he seems fairly happy to fight along with the tempo at this level.

At the higher level i believe he will be more incentivised to perform 100%, rather than 5% more than his opponent.

The Dodson fight will certainly dispell or prove, any opinions on him.

I think it will be a good domestic UK fight, with rivalry and needle in abundance between the two operators, which will give us arm chairs fans a treat.

I hope with all my heart that you are right Saddo. That would be awesome. Then Kostya can come back and finish the giant killer off.

Kostya seems to want to come back, but Johnny Lewis is really against it. The decision they reckon will be made by the end of this year. That is only 8 weeks. I hope he does for 1 final bout. Against Hatton in Melbourne, Australia at the mighty MCG. AND AT A NORMAL TIME!
