Im not Amirs biggest fan but I do like that double right hand that he decked him with.

Listening to the commentary makes me cringe. I know they have a job to do but if the paid proffesionals are going ballistic like he's a world beater what is uneducated Joe Bloggs on the street going to think?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

He was ranked well above Khan before that fight and unbeaten in 9
Not his fault he keeps battering all his opponents in that fashion and everyone's gotta climb the ladder in the same way.
We can really start to judge him in december as that was his last 6 rounder.
His hand speed is blurringly fast.

Well Roy Jones fought an 8 rounder in his second pro fight so Amir is some way behind his heroes methinks.

But he is progressing nicely. Actually there are some interesting fights down the line for him, Kevin Mitchell, Ricky Burns, Carl Johannnson, Graham Earl etc.

2007 should be a really interesting year for us fight fans who want to see him properly tested. There is good strength in depth at 130-140 domestically so hopefully we will see him stretched soon.

He'll ruin Mitchell judging by his last peformance
Way too much for him and he'll beat him in every department.

You may be right, I like Mitchell though but he does tend to get dragged into a brawl at times.

We don't yet know how hard Khan hits though, or how well he takes a punch so it could be an interesting fight.

Mitchell has got a decent dig on him, although moving up to face Khan may lessen its potency somewhat.

I'd really like to see Khan in with Johannson though. He's a strong kid who would look to bully Amir.

Of the others I think Ricky Burns is a great fighter, but not enough power to win Amir's respect and Earl is just way too inconsistent. He could show up and give Amir a real tough night, or he could just be awful.

For me Khan vs Johannson would appeal to me the most.

absolutely agreed, I want to see him get caught flush, just to see how he handles it. At this rate though yeah he looks good.

We'll know more after he gets to the 8 rounders.
