I honestly can't see him winning against Oscar up at Light Middleweight.
Big ask and Oscar is a schooled fighter who knows every trick in the book
PBF's stock has shot up in my book also for taking this one..
Boxrec say it's on but im holding fire just for now.
Boxing badly needs a fight like this though

nah mate beating DLH would be a far better achivement than beating anyone else... he wont win.

but if he did it wouldn't matter what anyone said he could retire and be happy with his legacy IMO

    but again he wont win
im wondering saddo mayweather said one last fight so if mayweather lost would he try and get rematch with oscar or will he just retire ??
i dont think it will be his last fight mate i think it was just bait for DLH... tha same way DLH said he wasnt intrested... just mind games from them to get the fight sorted.

Early reports suggest 13.1m ( pounds ) for Oscar, and 5.3m for Floyd, which is not alot more than what he got for the Baldi fight. I would have thought Floyd may have asked for more.

    just noticed the POUNDS

so the same amount for baldy and ODH.... and i guess after the Baldy fight he'd be hard pushed to get that kinda money again after stinking the arena out

    so the price is right

I can at least give PBF a little bit of respect IF this fight comes off. I dont see it as a very good fight though. I think is just going to pot shot and run all night. If he didnt stand in with Baldomir he sure as hell isnt going to stand in with Oscar. Lots of build up for a big let down of a fight.

He won't be able to fight the way he did against Baldy though.

Mayweather got $8millon for Baldi which was his best ever pay day

They're saying between $10-12million for this fight, plus a cut of the PPV...it'll do over a million buys

A few months ago Floyd was shouting about earning $20million plus if this fight came off...Maybe you were right Matty about them "poor" Baldi PPV figures

Oscar wont let him but that doesnt mean he wont try. Oscar will cut the ring off better than anybody Floyd has fought in a long time, but the size of the ring will determine how well Oscar can accomplish it.

Might be an early advantage to Mayweather that odh will have to change trainer, cuz theres no way Mayweather sr will be in oscars corner. I might be wrong but what father would train a guy to beat the living piss out of his own son!!!! id be interested to know peoples opinions on this.

The trainer isn't going to make much of a difference, how has Floyd senior helped Oscar improve? Second,if Oscar makes him a big $$$ deal,Floyd senior is a Mayweather,he won't turn it down, like father like son! They'll probably embrace emotionally after the fight. As for the fight,Floyd will win. If he's going to run like that from Baldy, imagine what he will be like against Oscar!!! Floyd will win,I'm 98%certain. To the peeps saying Oscar will win,I ask you,HOW?! Just because he's bigger and stronger, what about his inevitable ring rust, his stamina,Floyd's speed etc etc.
