Shakur Stevenson will look to mount the latest defence of his WBC lightweight title against the unbeaten William Zepeda as part of a blockbuster New York City fight card.

The star from across the Passaic River will head to the Big Apple looking to retain his strap against the fearsome Mexican, himself fresh off two wins over Tevin Farmer.

Zepeda has earned interim credentials to challenge for this honour, and will be a difficult foe - but it will still be the home favourite who has the crowd at his back in NYC.

Shakur Stevenson vs William Zepeda will take place on Saturday, July 12, at The Ring Magazine 3, with the whole card set to be shown live on DAZN.

The fight forms part of a stacked mini-supercard boasting two world title fights and a number of leading contenders looking to further their reputation.
