British light heavyweights Craig Richards and Dan Azeez are set to make history when they headline Matchroom Boxing's first event in Ghana.

With both men in their mid-thirties, this is a crossroads fight.

Neither Richards nor Azeez can afford to lose on Saturday night, a loss would almost certainly bring the curtain down on their respective careers after numerous chances to deliver on the big stage.

As the light heavyweight division in the UK continues to get stronger, there are some major fights in prospect for whoever wins at Accra's Legon Sports Stadium.

I wanted to watch the fight live on TV but the show in Ghana got later and later.

Saw the highlights and Richards fought well and from his range. The knockout was destructive in the last round with a beautiful left hook.
