Personally, I'm delighted that Bobby Pacquiao lost, the same as when other fighters have come in over the weight. At the end of the day they know their bodies better than anyone, and should be able to perfectly judge whether they can make the weight or not at least a few days beforehand. I mean, how hard is it to step on those scales AND read them as you stand on them....?

Velasquez was losing on two of the three official scorecards but the commentator and I had Velasquez up a little bit. In any case, I hope I never have to see these two guys fight ever again. Velasquez is slower and more flatfooted than Butterbean and watching Bobby Pac, it's hard to imagine he could even get a winning record in the Phillipines.

Yeah, it was a messy fight. Bobby Pacquaio is tuff, but I don't like the sucker cus he got a blatent gift decision over Carlos Hernandez, which sent Hernandez's career into the crapper. Velasquez looked slooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww as hell. He did manage to nail Bobby with that straight right some though. The low blows were obvious, but Velasquez was not getting hurt much by them, like when he faked it, then ran after Bobby and hit him with his back turned a la Vernon Forrest. Ugly fight, right decision though, Bobby has only himself to blame for the DQ.
