I actually liked playing with the go-bots better. Transformer took to long to configure. By the time you turned optimus prime from a truck to a robot megatron was long gone...

    Cykill for me.

    Lyle,

You seem like a man who remembers toys fondly. I had some little figures that I liked but I cannot remember what they were called. They had classes like fire, wood, water, etc. And you had to rub the black sticker to see which class you were. I know that Transformers had some figures that had the black sticker you rubbed to see if they were autobot or decpeticon... any ideas.

I also had 90% of the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures.

I had some M.U.S.C.L.E figures too....I had the ring they wrestled in as well.

I had more GI Joe's than you could shake a stick at...and I had Voltron as well.

    Those were happy days

CC for being nostalgic with me fellas

Well there is a subtle difference while both turned into different things Transformers stayed apart for the most part having a robot turn into a jet or a truck whereas Voltron's characters were Lions and stayed lions even when they formed Voltron the big robot much like how the rip off Mighty Morphin Power Rangers do.

All I can say, is once Voltron pulled the sword out, it was all she wrote for the bad guy!
