He quite clearly tripped over the rope. The punch didn't land. Was harder than i thought but i think he coped exceptionally well. It doesn't matter so much that the frenchy was a non puncher because he looked a weight division or so bigger than kahn. So kahn stood up to his punches pretty well. Stil learning tho and he does make defensive mistakes but its fights like this one that help iron the mistakes out. Well done Amir.

As Eubank would say, "slip slip"!!

    He slipped on the rope!

Was a great tester! Props to the French guy!! He showed no fear and came to fight!

    Loved Khans attitude..
"I felt I had a little bit left and I wanted to finish myself off"

Glad it wasnt like one of Audleys early fights when he used to top the bill!!

    Tc

This signiture is up as ante in a 'sig-bet'. Wanna bet anyone?

Ono You dont learn your mistaes in a fight, you learn your skills in the gym. Young Amir on that display isnt learning or I dont know what Im looking at. I bet Franks a worried man.

I thought that was Amir's best performance to date. He took his time, looked settled and composed the whole fight, dominated the action.

He's ready to step now I think.

I'd fancy him to take Earl and Thaxton apart if they meet some time next year.

Just as well that guy had a shite straight right or Khan would've been in trouble.

The French bloke annoyed the shit out of me. I just wished he'd stop dancing in his silly lime green skirt.

From a prospect Ive never seen so much air getting hit. The atmosphere there last night must be punchdrunk. Balance, timing, distance, quality, posture, where were they.

    Amir impressed me tonight.

I dont think he will be an ellite fighter but thats no reason to be dissapointed at all.

His speed, timing and reflexes seem to be top notch... Although i wish he'd use those attributes to better hs defence too.

His power is very limited, but then agian if he threw punches in ones and twos a bit more frequently rather than those rapid combo's, he might find a bit more power.

Im glad he's sitting down on his punches a lot more too. For 10 rounds aswell!!! Must of been very alien for him.

Good stamina too, first fight over 6 rounds and came out firing at the last.

All in all, well done Amir.
Hope you learn from your mistakes though.

Amir got the job done so fair play to him. And it was a good learning process out there

All I'll say is it's a bloody good job the French guy couldn't punch hard
