What about Russ Anber he's great!! Super knowledgable
and a great speaker plus he LOVES the sport!!
His enthusiasm is infectious and he has a great knowledge of boxing history! check out his show "In this corner"
He makes Larry Merchant look like the pathetic, senile, droll, drunken
babbling old fool that he is!! Time for NEW blood!!

Gyrokai, and I am saying to you, he is a rump swab who subconciously hates the fighters and this is becoming more and more noticable. I fought in the 50's before anyone discovered what rock he was hiding under. About 95% of the fighters hate his guts.

Not that old but almost. I remember the Cicero Race riots and the Seiche (tidal wave) that hit Lake Michigan and all the great Chicago fighters of the late 40's and 50's. And the gtra hot dogs and pizza. Bob Satterfield was my favorite back then. Later, Bobby Chacon out of LA became my favorite along with Danny Lopez...and then Saad Mohhamed. All had the same knack for getting off the cnavas to ko thier opponent. Like Gatti did recently.

Micky Ward was my favorite before anyone even heard about him which brings me to why I despise Merchant, He dissed Micky on the DLH -Whittaker undercard, called him a "coward" as he was having an off night against an undefeated Mexican Alfonzo Gosalez...until Micky ice him with a shot to the liver. It shut up Merchant, but I will never, ever forgive him for that. He did not bother to research Micky and came out looking like the senile lazy scumball he is.

Also, we used to go to the Stadium, Marigold Gardens, Rainbow Arena and the Coleseum to watch fights. I fought in places like Waukegan, Hammond, East Chicago, Cal city, Parichy Stadium, Blue bird Field, Parks, fairgrounds, amories and Rock-ola Stadium. Whew! What shit holes! Whew!

    CC dude, CC dude...

These guys here HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

There's NEVER gonna be a guy who BASHES HBO and boxing performances
as good as Merchant. He's an Anti-Hero if you think about it.

I've never seen a commentator hold strongly to his own thoughts about the
network "HE WORKS FOR" and say them out loud. You listen to all these
commentators of every other sport, they play it safe for the most part.

When are we ever going to have someone who's going to openly complain about
the ref, the mismatches HBO presents, and other things HE points out.

"Show me a guy who hates Merchant because he's biased,
    and I'll show you a Biased Bast*rd."

Ha Ha CC on that...Merchant can be a jerk but he is a jerk in a funny way. You gotta love him for his truthfulness even if you don't agree. he believes in what he says and has the nerve to say it....Get mje a hat I'll wear it ....of course I will wear an Arce hat first
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!

yeah man peeps dont realize man growing up in CHICAGO especially ya teen years man that makes you HARD man. Chi-Town got some of the toughest streets and neighborhoods hands down. i was saying earlier even the most preppiest yuppie who's grown up in the city of CHICAGO is HARD just by surviving the streets man.

u know whats funny TED the BULL i had alot of big time celebrity baller types as my clients when working/living in beverly hills. but one day i came across this wealthy chicago suburban housewife client and automatically we both started talking about the BROWNS CHICKEN MASSACRE for hours man LOL. now thats some GANGSTA SHIIIIIIIIIT. BROWNS CHICKEN MASSACRE that mystery wasnt solved for like 20fukkkkin years LOL yet even a wealthy chicago suburban houswife can talk with a complete stranger like me about that subject matter for hours LOL crazy huh
