Guzman?He is a very defensive fighter, especially when facing a tough opponent and he back-pedals a lot when pursued, but to his credit he does counter on the way. Against tough guys, his biggest problem is he lacks a strong offensive weapon. If you want to keep fighter like Manny at bay, you need very strong jabs or straights. I've noticed his biggest weapon is his hook, they're very stiff but the big problem is they're also very short, so it will be effective only on the inside. It will work against fighters like Juarez who likes to fight on the inside but not on Manny who likes to fight from the outside. That's why I want to see him fight Juarez more than Manny. He just got to develop a very strong jab or straight. Without it, I think he won't be able to keep Manny away for long and you know what that means.

Very good analysis bro,I said similar things when I was asked about Guzman v Pac although your analysis is more in depth! Guzman may very well have a great defence but that alone will not help you survive the savage onslaught of the Pac man! Yeah,bro,I said exactly the same thing,I said Guzman should fight Jaurez or Soto if he can't get the big fight he craves!
