When you fight Erik Morales and then follow it up with fighting Acelino Freitas you're doing something risky! Give the guy his props!!!

He also fought and IMO beat Rocky Juarez

Ignacio Beristain- has trained so many great fighters but I don't think he gets the respect he deserves.

Casamayor-I think he is underrated for the reason you said Ouma,he could have been undefeated with a bit of luck!

Valero-he is beginning to become over rated and even though I'm a fan,if he does not improve his skills in the ring,he will lose as soon as he steps up.

Corrales-I actually think he is slightly under rated. He is not particularly smart, making fights harder than htye have to be,has a suspect chin but great heart, awesome power, and wins over Castillo in ofe the greatest fights ever,Casamayor and Freitas are impressive.

Collazo-I was unsure about this guy, although having seen 2 more his fights,I think he is under rated. Very skillful, southpaw,VERY fast hands, can box and go to war, accurate short punches, good fighter.

What do you guys think of Kostya Tszyu, was he over rated? I ask becaue I have seen it mentioned before.

Calzaghe IS vastly overrated on here, and Hatton WAS vastly overrated on here, but thats to be expected with all the Brits on here. They love their fighters, and can't help but be bias. It pisses me off just the same though.
Wlad is overrated too, quite a bit. How quickly they forget about his KO losses and make excuses, now that he is back in favor with the brass at HBO and the hype machine is up and running in full force again. But its all good.

    Underrated:
Roy Jones, Brits hate him and some Americans, so they were happy when he got KO'd by a lucky shot against Tarver, then lost it mentally and stopped throwin punches. They can't face facts that no one has defied boxiing technique, abandoning the jab, fighting with hands down etc. and accomplished so much. They can't face facts that he IS the greatest boxer ever, or top 5 for sure.

James Toney. Like others have said, this is a former freakin MW, who has ducked NO ONE in his entire career, and is now fightin at HW and beatin top guys handily, admittedly I thought he shoulda lost a close decision to Rahman cus he was just too damn lazy and outta shape, but theres no way in hell he didn't win that Peter fight. Toney is a legend people, forget bout his smack talk, its all jive, nonsense and in fun anyhow. The man is a legend.

Rahman, ruiz, and byrd were overrated to the highest possible degree for the longest time. Rahman beat lewis with the luckiest shot ever landed by a boxer. Ruiz has like 8 losses at this point, was blown out by tua who is a never was, Got beat by toney handily and to this day believes that it was steroids that counter-punched his ass for 12 rounds, and continues to go around saying he's the best. Byrd is a blown up cruiser weight that got both his titles as gifts. Everyone thought he was great because of his win over vitali (vitali quit that fight, byrd did not win it) and he beat a shot holyfield by decision.

Brock was way overrated b4 the wlad fight. Sporting around his 29-0 record like he beat somebody worth a damn

Both ibragimovs are overrated as well as ray austin. I still wanna know how you have less than 20 wins, get a draw in your next match, and become a mandatory just like the person you drew with.

And of course Wacko's favorite caveman Valuev is overrated. Some people going around saying his 40 some undefeated streak is legit . He is 7'3 325 pounds, he should've won every fight against the bums he's fought by ko and in impressive fashion. He's the biggest fighter the division's ever seen and lacks the power his size says he should have.

I will now take this time and slap an Overrated sticker on the entire heavyweight division with the exceptions of: Wlad (for now), Peter, and Toney. Wlad's not overrated because he is obviously the best available. Peter gave wlad a good fight but ran out of gas. Toney beat Peter but got robbed. If toney and wlad were to fight, i think an in shape toney might be able to box his way to a close decision but he'd have to have an almost flawless night to do so.

I think Juan Diaz is underated. This guy impresses the hell of me and he never seems to even be mentioned. One of the most accurate punchers ive seen in years. Eventually he will get his day though.

Also I think that JMM is underrated since his robbery vs. Chris John

By far the most underrated boxer around is Cory Spinks. The poor guy gets almost no credit and is barely mentioned at all unless as an object of abuse.

Yet he's a former undisputed weltwerweight champion who successfully moved up to 154 and won a world title belt in his first fight at the weight, something that according to Hatton's trainer Billy Graham (when trying to explain Hattons stinker against Collazo) nobody has ever done before

Calzaghe is very overrated. The lacy win was amazing but seeing as he is only planning on having a few more fights he should be seeking the very best there is.
