Default LEWIS: I'M STILL 'THE CHAMP'

(haha he just loves fucking with Vitali)

Former undisputed champion Lennox Lewis insists he could still beat any of the world's top heavyweights despite turning down the chance to come out of retirement.
Speculation had mounted that Lewis was set to end a four-year exile from the ring for a $25m super-fight against Vitali Klitschko.

And although Lewis admitted the chance for a swansong fight at the new Wembley Stadium was tempting, the former holder of the WBC, WBA and IBF belts has refused to go back on a promise made to his family.

However, Lewis claims if he had accepted the chance to return he could have still dominated a heavyweight division bereft of talent - as well inflicting another defeat on Klitschko.

Lewis was a very intelligent fighter. when the perceived danger is there , Lennox does just enough to win the match without exposing himself to the threat, when he does not perceive the threat that’s when he could be got.

I still liked Lennox better when he was leaner at 227lbs he would come out with the mindset to put the hammer down , Lewis would have been more exciting as a champion in my opinion and get more recognition for his accomplishment. All that bulking up slowed him considerably and exhausted him in matches thereafter.

I hope he doesn't come back. After the last Vitali fight there was a world wide thread shortage 'cuz of It all being used up to stitch Klitschkos face back together.
If they fights again...same outcome.....who'd want to see him fight the same losers he beat over and over again? Doesn't interest me and I can see why It doesn't interest him.

I doubt he'd beat everyone out there....Vitali would give him hell....Wladimir would be EXTREMELY difficult to handle because we have all seen when guys can jab better than Lennox he has trouble and Wlad sure as hell can jab, Sam Peter is young, tough and has some power and if he could land anything he could hurt Lewis....Shannon Briggs is still big and still has fast hands but he's so out of shape I doubt he'd beat Lennox....Valuev's size would be a factor if Lewis was a fighter like Mike Tyson, dependent on the early KO.....eventhough I think Lewis would KO Valuev quickly much like a Michael Grant.

There is a lot of truth to what he says but also a lot of self promotion

a prime briggs only lasted 5 rounds how long you think this briggs would last ?? wlad would give him hell with his jab agreed but i see lewis stopping him round about 7 or 8 but lewis would be behind on scorecards at time samuel peter could knock lewis out but 8 out of 10 lewis decisions peter i think valuev would last about 6 rounds before he gets stopped and vitali fight ?? thats 50/50
