I like Miranda, but Green will land some heavy blows on him and we'll see his chin tested. As mentioned above, Green is a good counter-puncher... But I can't root against someone called Pantera...

    Agreed. Good points.

    I hate brawlers. Miranda's a bralwer.

I love tactical thinking boxers...a tactician Miranda isn't.

    A tactician is a thinking man's boxer
. You can see him working out a gameplan in the ring. Miranda just goes in for the kill at the first bell...he embodies the majority of what I don't like...but gotdam he's grown on me.

He knows just when to hit & how to where to crack...thing is...it's been against fighters & not truely seasoned boxers. He underperformed against Abraham (IWO) ref or not.

Against Eastman he did so-so. The stoppage was a bit...off, IWO, but he did do pretty decent against the biggest test to date.

Anywho...I'll love it if & when he blocks Green out.
a thinking man's fighter? Hell , It takes lots of skill and intelligence to cut off the ring and slow down these safety first runners . Don't kid yourself. , taking chances, putting everything on the line to win, that’s what’s hard ! That’s why I feel the aggressor wins a fairly close round . , The aggressor is the one taking chances , pressing the action, making the fight. Without him its snuff . if a fighter fights on his heels he needs to put on a Mayweather / Whitaker type performance and dominate , cause anything short of, ain't Impressive .

It's just a difference of opinion babe.

I got a whole lot more respect for a man that goes in there with a plan & executes it to precision no matter how hard the other man can hit & no matter how effective the opposition is.

Best for instances I can give you: Wright vs Trinidad, SRL vs Hearns, Hopkins vs Tarver, Jones vs Ruiz, Mayweather vs Corrales...hell...basically any Mayweather fights.

Tactical game plans that just turned into master pieces.

I love all types of styles don't get me wrong , I was just replying to the "thinking mans comment" you made .. Wanted to point out that an effective aggressive fighter is not brainless and has skills. your statement implies that a brawler is a nub... which is inaccurate that's not a matter of opinion . what style you prefer to watch is a matter of opinion and personal taste. ! Chavez , Tszyu, Hatton , Duran. Hagler, they were all smart fighters ! . . . it takes a tremendous amount of skill to be an effective aggressor in a fighter , along with determination factor. I just had the urge to point this out . An aggressor makes the fight, without him its just a posing contest. ! he is the man taking all the risk.. very important to factor into close rounds. yeah Mayweather a good example of a tactical fighter winning rounds impressively, however there are plenty of tactical fighters that are not so masterful and will lose on the cards because of their lack of determination factor and their unwillingness to be first . ! I will agree that too many brawlers fall for the bait.. when they should mirror their opponent and make them come in more . cc #2685 I always enjoy a good debate !

I'm more excited for this Miranda vs Green match up than I am for Cotto/Urkal or for that matter any other fight so far this year! This is going to be a hell of a fight. Good luck Pantera!

Miranda will show Green up for the hype machine he is.....

Fact Allen Green has never fought anyone that would be remotely considered Mediocre at best, he has fought nobodies ans almost got Sparked out by McCrary, in fact if it wasnt in his hometown it would have been a TKO.....Oh I can smell the home cooking from here.

Miranda will bring him to places mentally and physically that Green dont want to go, Edison will break him to pieces tonite.. it will be easier than most think
