Awesome awesome fighter, wonderful attitude, always willing to face the best and a genuine nice guy. A great asset to the sport,I can think of no better compliment than that.I wish there were more fighters like him rather than these wannabe businessmen type boxers.

However, luvfightgame, although I'd really like to believe that Shane would beat Floyd,I dont think he would. I just don't see it.

He did yeah but in that fight you posted there , the headbutt started the problems for Shane and he could have been given the rematch cuz it was so close .

He is slowly getting his form back now and is pretty near to where he was . He will fight anyone and seek out the hardest challengers unlike Floyd

The second Mosley - Forrest fights was one of the worst fights I've ever seen.

Just had to say that. But yeah Mosley is such an athletic fighter, I'm glad to see him back at 147 where he can really make a splash.

CC for the vid ICB, its a shame Forrest turned out to be a bit of a waste man.

Mosleys 1st fight with Oscar is one of the best fights ive seen (flat-out brawls aside )
I love Mosley's style and he is definately re-visiting top form. Dunno about him beating floyd but it would be a bloody good fight!

Mosley on form against anyone is a bloody good fight

Remember people reckon Castillo outpointed Floyd . He was unofficially floored vs Judah too , hurt by Corley and we are yet to see how he handles a washed up De La Hoya .

If you want to see flat out dominance against a decent fighter watch his fight against Adrian Dodson

Mosely was found to be using steroids in the Balco investigation, I think this deffinitly has alot to do with his dominance in the lower weight because after that he moved up and his performances dropped.

He never had a style that was gracefull and textbook, he relied on speed and power, both came from his performance enhancement drugs, he doesnt look half the fighter he did now or just after the balco thing

Also he is really well liked. I live about 40 minutes from where he does and he has pictures in restaruants and stuff like that, and he's not stuck up. If you go to the right 24hr fitness you can play basketball with him and he doesn't have a crew of thugs with him or anything. His dad goes to some of the local fight cards, he's just a solid guy all around.

And as far as his current fighting potential..... He is far from washed up, he hasn't looked bad in any of his fights and even the ones he lost were competetive. He has alot left in the tank if you ask me. And I think he would beat PBF silly.
He wouldn't touch PBF... PBF is too quick for this Mosley, and even when Mosley was younger he wasn't a good enough boxer.

Mosley doesn't have problems with quick fighters. He has problems with fighters that are bigger and taller than him. PBF however had big problems with Zab and Mosley is more powerful, quicker, great stamina, and much better chin. Mosley is just too strong for PBF in my opinion.

Shane definitely lost the rematch because Forrest had his number. And it's not because Forrest is a better fighter; he isn't. He beat Mosley with punch 'n clinch action. He would tap him with that long jab and tie him up before he could throw anything back. But because Forrest won both fights he got a big head out of it and thought he could do anything. He was riding on a confidence high when he thought he'd step in and trounce Mayorga that first time...
