I'll go out on a limb and say, he was probably eluding to PBF fundamentel Skills and high level of technical excellent... He epitomizes the very definiton of Boxing....

Of course Wacks dosent need me to speak for him
Gotdam right Wacko don't need no JT speakin for him...but you hit it on the head...so we'll letcha slide on that one. Heh heh heh.

As I stated in the long winded post earlier...Floyd is a smokin turd of a human being in my eyes...but he's a fantastic BOXER & that's what I look at at the end of the day...because #1: I don't know him. #2: I don't hang with him. #3: I don't care to do either.

I just want to see him work the ring as always.

I want to say this also...anyone that makes a judgement on the man outside of the ring & focuses on the fighter inside...what the fwock?

Oscar's no saint. He's fwocked around on his wife, is rumored to have some youngin's outta wedlock, & blah blah blah.

Now...I'm a happily married man...I've done some things in my days prior that most people wouldn't respect...but this aint politics...this is boxing...not "Who's the Man Outside the Mat". For that arguement's sake...I wouldn't want to hang with Oscar either.

These men are fighters & showmen. What they do outside of the ring is not as vital inside of the ring.

Floyd is right...boxing does need bad guy's.

When Hopkins vs Oscar came off...Hopkins was pulling the very same S*** outta his a**. Mayorga too. Mayorga was insulting Oscar's wife & manhood & children.

Come on people...it's a sell. If you can't see it...again...you take it too personally.

As I said...I don't agree with it...nor do I condone it...but it is a show & these men are going to the mat to sort it all out.
Sorry Wacko I disagree. Gone are the days when sports stars were treated with the same care as old Hollywood. You act like an ass out of the ring people are going to know, right or wrong, things have changed.
Yep PBP is no doubt at very good boxer but when you act like a clown and run off your mouth you're running the sport down and your own reputation down.

floyd is p4p #1 as for a p4p#1 his resume sure is horrible.

don't compare others resume because they are not praise as p4p#1 only floyd is. and again in case you didn't get it the first time...for a p4p#1 his resume sure is horrible.
I don't get people that question Mayweathers resume:

I just don't see it that way.

Don't get me wrong...I don't agree or condone that type of shit...I actually loathe it...but it does sell boxing tickets in the United States.

It always has. Roy Jones, James Toney, & Mike Tyson being perfect examples of the fact. Mouths, skills, & power to back it up makes a fight fan's wet dream. Tyson & Toney & Jones all talked shit & acted a fool & put asses in seats & the sport did just fine with them doing so.

Floyd aint the end all or the be all of boxing. He's good...but he aint that good.

aye but Tyson had the power to knock people clean out whereas PBF dances the night away and that means while we respect his ability we are less likely to pay top dollar for that.

When it comes down to which fighter would I pay to see in their prime, I'd definitely go to see Tyson over Mayweather, cause Tyson was devastating and electrifying, while Mayweather is likely to duck and dive to victory. If I had to budget what I'd pay for tickets, I'd go £100 or so for a Tyson ticket, but I'd be lucky to scrape in the cheap seats for Mayweather, maybe at £30.

I agree 1000000000000000000000000000000000000% Rhunster!!!!!  I think your quite a few years younger than me and you might not remember the late 80's... I'm 31 and growing up in the Tyson Era was special he brought excitement and a certain Oldschool Gladiator ora to the arena with him when he came to the ring... He would have that cut up towel around his neck and then he would just pace the ring like a caged animal.... That bell would ring and he would hit just go after his opponent like a heat seeking missle... The KO is to Boxing what the Homerun is to baseball.. Its what the majority of fans want to see and probably the only thing a casual fan wants to see..

I personally enjoy a boring chessmatch and technical  masterclass as much as a good KO or TKO... Funny thing is you might want to evaluate a your monetery investment in a Tyson fight early in his career.... I remember the Spinks fight were it cost almost $50 on PPV which was big time bucks in the 80's and it lasted less than a round... Alot of his fights were like that... ALways enjoyed the free ones on HBO though

Class act...have we forgotten about his past drug problem and his past relationship in which he got caught cheating?
He says that Mayweather needs to quit swearing....yet I remember after he took that shot from Hopkins...all you heard was "F*ck"...and in the locker room afterwards...he was yelling"that is f*cking bullsh*t"

See...that's the issue with Floyd that everyone "dances" around...& in the end...it's really kind of irritating.

People laude one fighter for doing one thing great & then they rip into another fighter for doing his thing great.

Floyd is a boxer. Slick, smooth, & dominating in his own way. Moving & outboxing & using your defense is no worse or better than what Tyson does. It all depends on what you like in a fighter.

It's ridiculous to say that Floyd runs & dances the night away after you sit there & watch him pepper his opponents with shots.

Boxing is as much of a thinking man's game as it is a power play.

You can't sit there & generalize a defensive fighter as running or dancing away as a detraction when they totally outbox & humiliate the other man in the ring.

    That's just silly.

Oscar is all class is B.S. Besides, Oscar saying floyd is acting like a punk, well, you told floyd you would sign a fight, even was quoted in a newspaper, then he buys out his contract for alot of money, then looks like he's ducking Margarito, and then you say no to the fight, a few days after Margarito has already signed to fight someone else. That's punk shat! That's up there with don King shat.
