But I also think its the mental unstable thing...I call fighter like this headboxer(cause something
is wrong there...),sooner or later they have a breakdown and most of the time it smittens those
boxers, who have talent or/and power and speed...
    A very strange condition...

Or maybe its the hype...people start to talk about a fighter, making them bigger than they really are
and then when the fighter doesn't life up the expectations,he becomes the laughing stock...

I think what frustrates all of us on this forum is that we recognize his talent and it pisses most us off seeing this clown throw it all away.
Yeah there is no reason for that many people to be in the ring. They really should have a rule against that and enforce it. But as far as Zab he has been the same fighter his whole career and that wont change. At this point a change in his team wont do him any good.
The sad thing is you're right! A change probably won't do him any good, i just hate it when fighters waste their talent.

Zab seems to have never been taught how to deal with problems or emotions. He turns to violence. Which isn't good, even if boxing is your job.

I dont know Zab....so I cant say that he is not mentally "tough"...I just think that he wasnt focused primarly on boxing. As for those "hanger-ons" in the ring...most fighters have them in the ring.Who cares?Anyway...he has 4 losses...his career can still be on the incline.

my point which i was even giving a personal reference to was that we all need to grow up at some point. i being from the mean streets of chicago, zab being from BK. thats cool and all but at some point hopefully in your adult years you come to realize. i want to be proffessional, i want a career, i want to be successful so alot of that means you stop with the thug life and u stop caring about impressing your old thug homiez etc etc.

He basically stayed green...7 years ago he was a tremendous prospect with some bad habits. He's gotten older, but basically stayed the same fighter. Honestly, the same fighter beating Ward and Witter beat Spinks, and lost/looked shaky all those times. IDK what that says, but he hasn't grown much.

Still has fans saying "if a focused Zab" which basically mean "if Zab fills his potential", that's basically what you say about prospects. Maybe he can fix some of those habits and he could come back in a big way against Cotto, he's only 29. But if he hasn't stepped it up in the 7 years previous, I see no real reason as to why he steps it up now. And if he loses against Cotto, I think that could be his last big fight. He at least has to be competitive.

The trouble with Zab's "hanger-ons" is they are filling his head with shit! How many handlers do you think Oscar will have with him on the 5th? He will have his handlers and that's it. Zab needs a clean out of his team and needs to get together with a new professional trainer who may just snap him out of his brainfade.
