Celebs are there most of the time because they have ties to a certain fighter.
Busta and almost everyone at Interscope....Dame Dash and rocafella records all have ties with Winky Wright through Violator and small advertisements that Winky does.
Zab is close to Pacman(titans player),Lil Kim,Jay-z,Young Jeezy, not to mention the countless others linked to the BMF family.
Like someone said earlier about Andre Ward...he is with team Jordan.
So is Roy Jones Jr...Who has a record label which rubs elbows with a sh*t load of rappers. So its common to catch Michael Jordan at Ward and Jones fights...

Zab is close to Pacman(titans player) -- Olympian

I think Pacman Jones got a raw deal with that 1yr suspension. Harsh.

They are but I mean, convictions take a while. They have never needed a conviction to suspend before, ask Leonard Little. Pacman seems to be owning up a bit and is reconciling with Jeff Fisher, so obviously the suspension was a step in the right direction for him. I'm sure the NFL saw the video tape from that night at the strip club too, which wouldn't need much of a conviction.

I've always liked Pacman, hope he picks himself up after this and I hope the Titans give him that opportunity, but something had to be done about 15 run ins with the law.

I'm sure there'll be a bunch of celebs at Floyd-DLH.

Cotto-Judah will get a big amount of celebs as well. i suspect there'll be a ton of rappers there. Zab's posse might be up to 50 people for this fight!

On another note, one thing I always liked seeing with the old fights is when they would introduce all the old champs who were at the fight, and the old champs would waive to the crowd and then wish both of the fighters good luck. They never do this anymore. The only time I can remember this being done recently was at Tito-Hopkins, they had some of the great fighters who had won middleweight belts at some point. I know they had Duran, Emile Griffith, and Iran Barkley there, to name a few.

They should do something like that at Floyd-DLH with old 147/154 pound champs. They could have guys like Leonard, Whitaker, Hearns, Duran, Tito, etc. I bet most of those guys will be at the fight.

I think thats one of the best parts about the bright lights in boxing that once they are shining all the celebs come out.

    Uumm! let's see.

Denzel Washington, Salma Hayek & Edward Norton, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Edward James Olmos, Sylvester Stallone, that I can recall were all at ODLH-SSM I.

Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z & Beyonce, Fat Joe, have all been at a few Winky & Trinindad fights.

Nick Lachey, was ringside for Cotto-Torres.

Mr. T was ringise for a Ricardo 'Finito' Lopez fight can't remember who Lopez fought.

    2Pac was at Tyson-Seldon fight.

Julio Diaz, Bobby Chacon, Erik Morales, Floyd Sr., Mario Lopez & Goldberg were ringside for Marquez-Vasquez.

Roselyn Sanchez & Victor Manuel were both ringside for ODLH-Tito.
& we all know what happened to pac after that little bout,, pac * suge knight went to most of tysons after jail fights & were actually quite close at some point as pac worte ambitions az a ridah for tyson to use as a ring entrance

russel crowe goes 2 quite a few kostya tszyu fights
hatton goes to quite a few of the barrera fights
steven arnold (ashley from corrie) goes to all the hatton fights
theres a few of the man utd players that go to the hatton fights (well did when they were in england)
stuart pearce was actually in hattons changing rooms & give him a team talk hahah

Yes convictions take time...BUT...he hasnt been charged with anything...the incident at the club didnt even involve him. There was a shooting...and someone said that he was talking to the guy before he started shooting. He has been pulled over for speeding, they found weed, and he has been questioned about various crimes.Being questioned about a crime doesnt make you guilty.
