Gary Lockett against Yuri Tserenko was another possible career ending beating .

I think he had a little about him going into the twleth..Thy shoulda thrown the towel after that fist knockdown thou..The last one was hard to watch..He just had nothing..

As much as it pains me to say it, I'd say it was Trinidad's corner during the Winky fight.

We Tito fans got used to some intensity in Tito's corner. Matter of fact, it became expected for Tito's dad to slap Tito at some point to sort of "kick start" him into a higher gear. That was when we'd all get riled up, because we knew that Tito was going to "kick some ass" after that.

But his corner was strangely subdued during the Winky fight. We kept waiting... and waiting.... and waiting... for something that never came. There was no good advice, no words of wisdom, no encouragement, no slapping some fire into Tito..... no nothing. Tito seemed listless and lost as the rounds wore on. For me anyway, it was painful to see.

So yeah, Tito's corner during the Winky fight did shitty work.

What do you think was the worst job done by a fighters corner.

Im going Trinidad/Hopkins.
Tito would come back looking dazed and confused,like he'd been through a meat grinder,and there would be his dad screaming,"You got this guy Tito,He cant take your power!"
And then hed send him back out to get pummeled again

I agree with you that Duva distracted Taylor.

Has to be Rafael Ruelas v gutierrez. Rafael was knocked down and cos the count was in english he did not understand it. He was takin a knee to get back his composure, and relying on his corner to tell him what the count was up to. They got it wrong and he got up one second too late. Total stuff up and he lost a fight he would have won.

I know this happened in a Rafael MARQUEZ fight but I wasn't aware that it had also happened with Rafael RUELAS.

Worst corner I ever saw mentally and physically was Tyson's corner when he fought Buster Douglas. Aaron Snowell and the other bunch of clowns. What were their names? I forget. The worst bunch of cornermen ever. They put a balloon like thing filled with water and put it over Mike's eye when it was swelling. They were a joke.
