If you compare p4p I disagree. At welterweight it was clearly true that Zab could hit harder, and was still as fast, but Mayweather at 130 or 135 was p4p as good of a puncher as Zab at 147, and almost as good as Zab 140, but faster of foot, and hand. Both Oscar who has fought Mosley, and Baldomir who already fought Zab were suprised by just how fast Mayweather really is. Against Zab Mayweather was punching more to land than to get steam behind his punches, and thats why they didn't look as quick that night.

Zab probably does have the more "physical" talent. But we will never know will we? Zab didn't take advantage of it when he was truly peaking, he's still in his quote unquote prime but this is his last chance

Zab will go down in boxing history as one of the greatest wasted talents ever. He has not been the same since Tszyu rocked his world in 2001. He had one good win against Spinks and that's it since then, he is capable of anything and Cotto knows this, Mayweather is a better fighter than Zab and that must be conceded. This is Zab's last chance and like a wounded lion i expect him to perform knowing that it really is his last chance. He loses this fight and he won't get another shot for years or ever.
You need more than natural talent to win big fights sometimes and i wonder if Zab has anything other than that going for him.

how does he have more natural talent? Mayweather is not hit by punches which Zab is. Zab is not great fighter, he is a good talent who has a very weak chin.
