I got this strange feeling Cory might pull off a point victory. But i'm not crazy enough to commit to it![]()

remember delahoya vs. strum and hopkins defending in the main event??
delahoya got owned that fight, but still got the nod and went on to fight bernard
realisticlly, all i could see possibly happening is a huge robbery in favor of jermain tonight
You have a good point there, it would have to be one sided. The thing is, these are the types of fights where people get complacent (Taylor) and that is dangerous against anyone.Hes seems to be more worried about Miranda than Spinks.
Cory is Underrated and has heart, skills and good ring intelligence, for all those who say Cory gasses out your right, but so does Jermain... I just hope the championship rounds arent plagued with inactivity and holding.... I am rooting for Cory and made my pick he will be the New Linear Middleweight Champion of the world... The kid deserves a ton of respect and will go into Taylors backyard and take it![]()
Yep JT gasses out as in he holds and looks a bit tentative in the last couple rounds. Cory gasses as in he virtually collapses from exhaustion, backpaddles from round 8 onwards and could be knocked out by a slight breeze at that point. From rounds 10 -12 even Sergio Mora could finish him if he landed flushOriginally Posted by JT Rock
Lol.. I think if history has shown anything its shown that Corey tends to be on the winning end of bad decisions in my opinion..Originally Posted by frozensolid_702

i mean i can see why, he has a style in which he makes it plain to see what he is doing right ..
He just has a style where if you try say well..Whos done what this round..You tend to remember what corey has done, you dont forget..
For example..I think it was round ten of judah - spinks.. Judah i had winning the tenth, It was convincing too! and a minute to go he went and turned away to showboat and looked at the crowd and by the time corey had hit judah and started to flurry for about the last 40 seconds of the round then i couldnt see how many judges would score it for judah still..even though i knew myself that he had a good round previous to that
Immortal Technique
The round when Judah showboated I gave it to Judah because he landed a huge uppercut at the end of that roundOriginally Posted by Tito_BHB
I think it's more than fair to say if it goes to the judges history would favour Jermain Taylor to keep his title.Originally Posted by Tito_BHB
He's harder to win a decision over than a German boxer, fighting in Berlin against a Jew with Adolf Hitler as the only judge.
