You need to see more of Pavlik's fights.

He fought the fight that he said he would...& he won.

Pavlik is actually a hell of a boxer with ample power.

Also...if you think that he exhibited no skills whatsoever...find tape & watch it again.

He timed Miranda all night & used some vicious combos.
Big CC Wack.... He did exactly what worked for him against Miranda, and he clearly had the game plan in his mind ahead of time.... He practically ran to the ring and focused on backing Miranda up and landing power shots all night... Sure Edison landed some good shots but the fact that Pavlik took them fine abd kept coming just adds to his intiuge as a fighter... I hadn';t really posted much with regards to a prediction for that fight but Pavlik fought very well and even though he was totally agressive it was a smart game plan.. And he proved he has a hell of a chin and can keep coming..

Let me say this about Pavlik...he's a good fighter...but not GREAT.

Personally...I think that Sturm, Abraham, Wright, Hopkins, & maybe Lorenzo would have a shot at defeating him. The Taylor of 3 years ago would have beaten him...but that Taylor is no more. Taylor has succumbed to his own hype & now that he's HBO's honey pot he's gotten soft.

The only issue with Pavlik is that he continues to forget his defense during the later half of his matches.
