It was a good fight,Martniez had his moments, looked good but Tony cut off the ring, trapped him and let his hands go. He worked the head and body and wore Martinez down. However,Sergio has continued to win fights since, and has beaten most of Europe's top fighters at the weight. I think his last fight was an eliminator for a title so hopefully will see him on the big stage soon.
And again I say he is 32. Simms will probably face him anyway.
She never misses an oppourtunity to try and degrade Margarito.....
And make up for what Zab has done to her.

Yup avoided by fighters, promoters and fans. He's a virtual pariah and thats the way it should be.

Someone needs to explain to Cory that he needs to be exciting IN the ring not ON THE WAY TO the ring.

The poor tard probably misunderstood, he;s not very bright after all

Martinez is a good fighter. Waste of talent though, spent too long fighting obscure opposition.

I agree with that but he has put himself into a good position now. He can still be a success/

Guys, don't be so quick to say " He lost to Margarito ". I saw that fight and Margarito did punish him a lot. Sergio Martinez, from what I hear, is now a much better fighter than that one that lost to Tony. When I saw that fight I wasn't impressed with Martinez' defense. He only has one loss though...so let's see what happens with him. He needs a challenge now! Besides the hard hitting Margarito, the list of opponents he's fought doesn't impress me.
