I don't think so on the suspect chin. You don't have to have a weak chin for any heavyweight to be able to knock you out. You just have to get hit ... I never saw his fight with Oliver but have seen the first fight with Rahman a few times. What was suspect for Lewis in that fight was his preparation and his defense.

I would guess very few heavyweights would be able to take that particular punch from Rahman without dire results.

I did see Lewis' fight against Bruno recently and was a bit surprised at how sloppy he looked ... not physically sloppy as in out of shape, but a bit wild and inaccurate. Most of his fights that I have seen, though, were his later fights and he always impressed me with his precision.
His balance in Bruno fight was bad.
He was a transformed fighter after he got with Stewart . Compare his fights with Morrisson and Bruno and it looks like two different fighters.

There was abit of bad blood with Bruno and that may have had something to do with it . Lewis traded jabs and Bruno was roughing him up with shots behind the head . When Lewis whacked him back , Mickey Vann pulled him up for it . Pepe Correra was also a useless trainer and Lewis won that fight on his own . Bruno got silly in round 7 with those cheeky uppercuts in sucession and Lewis swung a massive left hook that landed perfectly which started all the trouble. Bruno had he had his senses about him , should have taken a knee but he stood there and allowed Lewis the time to pick his punches

Yeah that fight was a case of Lewis being over zealous.....Lewis wanted to show he was the best heavyweight in the world and wanted the admiration that Bruno recvd from the British fans...

I agree and so will most...That Steward turned Lewis into the fighter he became...

A man that size who can box not just Offensively but Defensively as well.....

He didn't fight Bowe? Lost to a couple of journeymen and may have got stiffed in the first Holyfield fight but didin't win a round until round 9 of the second fight and gets a UD!! Let's not get carried away here, he is not a top 10 all time great Heavyweight champion.

HE DIDN'T FIGHT BOWE............I SEEM TO REMEMEBR LEWIS CALLING BOWE OUT EVERY CHANCE HE GOT AND BOWE THROWING THE TITLE IN THE TRASH CAN TO AVOID A FIGHT WITH LENNOX!!!!

Didn't Lewis beat Bowe in the Olympics? Bowe was scared of Lennox. Bottom line. I remember the trash can incident Daxx, that was shameful on Bowe's part. What a wuss.

Can't remember if it was olympics or just trials....It was the only choice Bowe had to retain his WBC title was to fight lennox and he actually threw it in the Trash can....Yes he was scared

Great fighter, so big and strong but he could move too. You could argue a case for him beating any other fighter in history and also for the heavyweight division dying when he retired.

One thing's for certain, he's the last heavyweight that you could call great.

i had a love - hate - love with lewis as a boxer..

Starting up iw as a big fan, liked him alot seemed hungry, waanted the best called them out. Then there was a noticable arogance about him, not the normal arogance you see in a boxer, this was something else. Like most have already said, he got sloppy, didn't take certain guys right, got to big for his own boots and it cost him.

Wasn't untill after he retired that i found my self a big fan of him again, spoken to him a few times since as well, real nice fella - IMO he is one of the greats, that there is no question imo.

He would have to, Tyson's prime was so short he would have peaked in the 4th and been past it by round 6
