Sorry but i don't understand this comment at all.Originally Posted by Taeth

So all of a sudden Great technique, Great defense, Speed, Quickness, accurate punches, great body work and ring intelligence.. Pale in comparison to wreckless aggression..... Pryor was good and strong but he was ALWAYS open and ALWAYS got hit alot.
Pryor also had skill when he used it he wasn't just some stupid brawler he had skills as i say again Castillo gave Mayweather two very tough fights plus Pryor is a better fighter and more aggressive than Castillo imo he would beat Mayweather.Originally Posted by JT Rock
OK, your talking about fights that happened years ago, plus the 2nd fight wasnt even close Ice.. Styles make fights and people still havent wisen up that bullying and pressureing floyd wont work and hasnt in about 6 years....Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
what weight is this fight supposed to be taking place at?? If Floyd can move up to 154 and outbox and rock Delahoya who was damn near 160 fight nite and also took Delahoya's punches, I think he will be able to handle Pryor at 140 and his Power... And if you dont think Mayweathers got enough Firepower to deter Pryor, well your not considering this wholeheartedly then
As I said in me previous post Aarons quality of opposition is just avg. if that.
With that being said his skills were tested against avg. fighters.
1 A class fighter and 1 B class fighter and thats all we know.
You really can't say much from that can you?
I mean I could understand if they were #1 challengers and all thats cool but that can only give you so much credit......
Yes the fight was close i had Mayweather only ahead 2 points so did Ledderman and you honestly think Mayweather has the power to hold off Pryor ?? he took Arguellos best punches one punch that almost took his head off his shoulders and he laughed at it he would walk through anything Mayweather would throw and swarm all over Mayweather and i honestly don't think Mayweather can keep Pryor off him.Originally Posted by JT Rock
yep because Alexis has thunder in his shoulder and anvils in his glove...... C'mon man, Floyd is an accumulation puncher who methodically broke people down at the lower weights.... Pryor made a living off of 2 fights in his whole career and got mass media exposure for grand standing to Sugar Ray and also from the bottle incident... Now all of a sudden Pryor was an end all be all Juggernaut, sorry I dont buy it.. AT a lower weight Pryor has no skill set advantage over Floyd what so ever NOTHING!!!!! PERIOD!!!!  I challenge you to name 1 skill set he excels over Mayweather in?Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Sure he had an unbeliavable KO % but besides Alexis who did he really fight that was spectacular?
What did Castillo have better than Mayweather ?? yet he pushed Mayweather twice in two close fights and Pryor is better than Castillo by a long shot and Arguello had very hard right hand he devasting puncher with that punch and Mayweather wouldn't be able to time anything when he has got a tornado swarming him.Originally Posted by JT Rock
Floyd wins this he would be just abit to slick
Sorry but conventional wisdom would dictate exteme skill and more than average power at 135-140 would out do a Quote un Quote Tornado swarming him... Especially seeing Floyd isint even the same fighter he was 5 years ago Not to mention when have we ever seen Floyd not be able to stick to gameplan, get rattled or not stay composed... He has 10x the ring smarts that pryor had... Not to mention the stamina and conditioning to be elusive ans slip punchesand defend Pryors workrateOriginally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Well for what it's worth Alexis could have swung with a bat and Aaron would have still been standing.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
When your juiced like that forget it man....
I have a friend whos L.A.P.D. and he told me this story of a guy who was on PCP and was walking right through swings of a baton, from 3 police officers they tried to tackle him droped him but he managed to get all of 'em off of him it took 6 officers to drop him and contain him 'till he was cuffed.
He said they were about to taize him but wanted to obstain from using that.
Anyway.....

If it was sarcastic then boy are you waayy! off...
Alexis didn't have thunder or anvils in his glove, he had TNT/Dinamite man!!!
'The Explosive Thin Man'. Back then many people marvele'd at how much power this litte skinny Nicaraguan kid had when he started fighting. They'd see his lanky skinny legs along with skinny arms and his hair parted to the side a la Clark Kent and people couldn't help it but say 'This is the guy that's been knocking people out? You can't be serious'
But boy once he got started..... Whoa! what a master of the trade to watch him fight is just amazing the way he picks his shots his footwork (laterall) and his stance was just picture perfect. His right hand forget it....
Would knock anyone out (who wasn't juiced) his combinations were elusive and precise thrown at the right angle and at the right time.
If you really meant the comment then just ignore the 1st paragraph of this post.![]()
No I know he was strong and had great Leverage and power behind his punches like a Tommy Hearns... But like I said people make it out to be like Pryor could take a shot from Tyson or KlitschkoOriginally Posted by CutMeMick
Floyd is a stinging accurate puncherwho can break you down and demoralize you, when you get hit as often as Pryor did, after a while you get broken down buy a Great counterpuncher with snap
I see the point you were trying JT.....![]()
