Like everyone else, Mosley is waiting to see what decision Floyd makes. What Floyd does will affect everything at either 147 or 154, since he'll automatically be considered the #1 guy at whichever division he chooses.

I would really like to see Mosley fight Mayweather next. I have no interest in a rematch between Oscar and Floyd.

But Mosley is a guy who has always fought the best but never called out the best. I'll always like him just for fighting Wright when Oscar wanted no part of him.
i agree with u SSM has always been humble and nice, but thats one of the reasons why he never really blew up he was way too nice IMO.

but come on when larry puts u on blast and asks who u want next and u reply my tooth is loose? u mine as well say oscar paid me not to call anyone out that he might want next.

Waht is up with Mosley? Who is he fighting next, anybody know?

Another question. Is he considered the WBC champ, or is Maywether still the champ? I was under the impression that his fight with Collazo was for the Vacant WBC title. I might be wrong here.
Mosley beat Collazo for the WBC interim world title. I read a while ago that as soon as Floyd moved up to fight Oscar, he'd be ungraded to full world champ of the WBC. For whatever reason...it hasn't happened as of yet.

No, Mosley is still the interim champ. He only replaces Floyd as the real champ if Floyd decides to continue fighting at 154. The WBC allowed Floyd the one fight at 154 against Oscar.

I'm all for a match with Clottey... I think Clottey has the goods his fight with Margarito was with a hand injury and he was beating his azz, a healthy Clottey is a friggin buzzsaw and I would love to see that up against the heart, determination, speed, chin and greatness of Mosely

Mosley needs to hurry his ass up. While he was dealing with "loose" teeth and taking vacations, he could have made the biggest fight of 2006 when Floyd offered it to him. Mosley vs Mayweather WILL NEVER happen because I think Floyd's now holding a grudge because he's tried to get SSM in the ring three times and SSM has never taken the fight. Now of all a sudden, Mayweather is basically mainstream and Mosley is looking for a big paycheck. Mayweather won't give it to him. With the whole Cotto-Judah-Tony-Paul "tournament", the winner will be tied up for the rest of 2007. Mosley should worry about staying busy and taking on Clottey, then Cintron, by that time he should be upgraded to WBC Champion @ 147, then he could try and taking on the winner of this mini tourney next year.

Yeah, there was a topic on this some weeks ago asking if anybody not like Mosley. Most agreed that that was his very problem he was too much of a nice guy and never generated any news or interest. He is a great fighter with great skills but he seriously needs to start calling out some names. He needs to recognize as many of us do that he is arguably the best WW at this time and there is absolutely no excuse for allowing all these other fighters to be holding belts in his weight class. Clean house Mosley before you get too old to do it.

Mosley is wasting time. He needs to stay active, especially at this point in his career. Kermit Cintron is fighting against Mathysse in June/July,Shane should go after him. Or keep busy fight v Estrada? Clottey is ALWAYS available but only Tony and Diego,2 old school warriors had the balls to give him a chance.
