Just because one guy doesn't wnat to fight another guy, it doesn't necessarily mean he was scared of him or felt he wouldn't win. When fighting someone, a fighter has to weight out risk and reward. How much risk am I taking, and how much reward will I get if I win. With Earnie, because of his punching power anyone who fought him was taking a huge risk, but because of his known lack of chin/stamina, there wasn't enough reward to beat him to justify taking such a big risk.

Actually its been documented it was the other way around.... I'm sure someone will dig that info up, it was about 2 months ago on the forum, were tysons handlers wanted no part of a fight with George Foreman.....
tysons handlers maybe but mike tyson feared no man especially a shot 40 year old.

...and ive heard that quite a bit but never seen proof.

think about it heres one eg...., tommy morrison easily beat an old foreman. do you not think pre or post-prison tyson couldnt do the same?
Ok well with your logic, Foreman on the comeback didnt fear Shavers it was his handlers Foreman feared no man... Also styles make fights that formula fighter A beat fighter B so he should be able to beat C is faulty logic and has always been

yeah stlyes make fight, and i made a crap example. but you know what i was trying to say, and that is tyson feared no man and prime foreman feared no man. but old comeback foreman feared mike tyson, riddick bowe and lennox lewis and rightly so..........and im not trying to turn this thread into a tyson vs foreman debate but..................................

    tyson by KO

Briggs is a good fighter the only thing that lets him down is the Asthma 48wins 42KO's WBO champ gave Lennox a good fight till Asthma kicked in and he ran out of gas.

Morrison fought scared and was on back foot for the entire fight Tyson never fought on back foot and wouldn't fight Foreman same way Morrison did.

Briggs is not crap..Give it a rest..

No matter how much anyone dislikes a fighter you cannot call any world champion fighter crap..

"Light heavyweight" moorer is a great fighter.. One of the best in the last generation of good heavyweights..

And Cmon.. Holyfield is not 'ok' He is a truely great fighter and one of the best heavyweights of all time..

Tyson would ko anyone in your eyes

Big George especially older model had granite chin and never touched the canvas in his older career and Tyson that just got out of prison certainly wouldn't do it.
