and yes if he gets stopped by benn why on earth wouldnt Calzaghe be able to do the same?
So because Calzaghe had problems with right hands his whole career thats an off night ??

Benn wouldn't have put G-Man's lights out had he not already had something VERY bad going on inside his cranium. He was WINNING that fight when he went down. He had alreday decked Benn twice, including knocking him TFO the ring in the 1st. The only prayer Joe C would have had is if he a home-cooked ref like Benn did who would let him get away with the rabbit punches.

dont think you can really say either way whether the KO was anything to do with that... Id be surprised if anyone could say, your making out like he was invicible... far from it.

No Calzaghe eats right hands all time he ate them from Reid all night long and Woodhall hit him clean aswell lots of times and guess what punch it was that Salem decked Calzaghe with ?? a right hand its fact he has always had problems with the right hands.

maybe so but you could argur that calzage speed, and craft would caus him all sorts of problems, and for all these right hands he "walks" into doesnt seem to me like he's ever been in any real danger of them. Flash knockdown when its happened!!!

I would say Lennox vs. Tyson was a better performance, and Lennox vs. many of his opponents was more impressive.

well its not just my opinion but many of the most highly regarded ex-fights and experts in the country so that has got to say something. For the first time he was an underdog, Lewis was far from that with tyson.. Get my point? Dont get me wrong Lewis had more impact for british boxing than any other fighter.

gman had good boxing skill and great timing. and he used to beable to box he just stopped doing it when he found out he had knock out power. g man had the sort of power that would have went right up to heavy weight. i mean the guy had power on par with jackson.

but he didnt knock benn out and that was at SMW, not MW. Its not like he was knocking world class fighters out either at MW and he did loose twice early on in his career, i may be wrong but not what i know of

Im the biggeest Calzaghe fan here, but he was badly hurt against Mitchell.
