I don't know if he would. But I do know he is very dangerous against who he fights. His right hand isn't a hurting shot but it's a shocking shot because you never see the angle it comes from. Baldomir is a very dangerous opponent for anyone and that is why I didn't want Zab to fight him Thats why when I heard and people were complaining about his 12 Kos I told everyone, that I wish Zab had never picked to fight him.

Starr, I admit,Baldomir is better than most give him credit for but he would not cause Floyd any problems at all, I think you are making him out to be more dangerous than he is to make Zab's loss seem more acceptable. Fact is Baldozar has basically no power and I'm sure he has thrown shots like the one against Judah against other opponents and they walk through it and also,he has like 9 losses. The only thing I have to credit him is he is unbeaten for quite some time and he is tough, think he has only been stopped once.

I voted the first option, though I could have voted "Baldomir beats Judah and all of a sudden thinks he's a world-beater" too. Dude is starting to annoy me.

Floyd said to Ring magazine that he's not fighting either of these guys no matter what happens in this fight. Baldomir wants more money than he deserves (and doesn't sell a single ticket), and no one wants to see PBF/Gatti 2.

I guess I'd pick Gatti to beat Baldomir, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes the other way--Baldomir's definitely better than Damgaard, and that guy landed quite a bit (albeit with zero power). And if Gatti fucks up his hand again, he WILL lose.

Finally, no way in hell do I pay for Gatti/Baldomir if it's PPV.

Gatti is going to box/brawl with Baldomir and squeeck out a close UD or SD. Mayweather doesnt need to fight either fighter. It doesnt do PBF or his legacy anything by fighting them or not fighting them.

im guessin balcotraz can probably take mayweathers punches long enough to land a few decent shots, but he may be SOOO slow he cud get TKOd in 1 round without ever being hurt

I don't think Baldamir has a hope in hell of even fighting let alone beating Mayweather, it's just not a fight the public will want to see.

Actually though I do think the Gatti Baldomir fight could be a great matchup, both fighters are probably around the same level of ability and I do think Carlos has a genuine chance of retaining his title, in fact my money would be on him.

One thing I will always like Baldomir for though is that after taking all of that pre-fight shit from Zab including him punching him before the bell started when the ref called them both together, he held himself together and quietly and patiently wore Judah down.

The 7th round when he had Zab almost out on his feet is remains one of the highlights of 2006 and he made laugh with joy when asked after the fight if he would give Zab a rematch and he said in one word 'No!'.

Ha still makes me laugh, Zab disrespected him so he took his title and ran! Good on him!

Baldomir to decision Gatti but he will not fight Floyd. Somebody like Margarito or Mosely will come along and relieve him of his belt before this time next year.............

mayweather would take baldomir apart....stop him in 6....

the fight would be a mismatch....

judah would convincingly beat baldomir in a rematch...

Baldomir might beat Gatti, I like Gatti still, but he looked vulnerable in his last fight. I doubt he could beat Floyd, but his style does resemble Castillo's some, just no power.

I don't think that if Judah couldn't move him that Mayweather would hurt him.

I have no idea why people say Margarito can beat Floyd and don;t think Baldomir has a chance.

Margarito is a better boxer, with more power than Baldomir, plus he is a HUGE Welterweight, oh and he has a great chin. That is why IMO, the only thing I fear is that he may be too slow, then almost everything else he has going for him would be nuetralized. And an outta shape Judah don't hit that hard, you know that Starr? Just like an outta shape EL Matador doesn't crack that hard either, remember the Eric Mitchell fight? Sure he roughed him up and beat on him, but he never hurt him too bad.

Baldomir is stonger and hits harder than Maweather. He just doesnt often go for the KO. Kind of like Winky. The power is there but he plays it safer but he has kod undefeated prospects. He is a very consistant fighter who comes to fight. He will show up against Gatti and it should be a good close fight. Also Baldomir could give Mayweather some trouble cause I guarantee you hes not scared of him or getting hit by him. Im not saying he will beat PBF but i think it could be really interesting. Baldomir is a REAL Welterweight

I know that. But he did take bombs from Joshua Clottey right on the chin. I think Baldomir has a toughness. with him. And I think Baldomir has a chance may not be huge but it's there. He doesn't throw a wide right hand like Margarito he throws an odd one who can catch a fighter looking which is why he can hurt you but not finish you(because you never see the punch). His set up is he feints his jab or left hook to get you to move toward his awkward right that would hti you at an angle you don't see.

    Because Baldo sucks.

I'm too lazy to go into details.
So your going to have to take me on faith. Trust me, Baldomir isn't good, but he is an overachiever when it comes to a Journeyman.
