As a website originating from the UK I can't believe no one listed Eric Clapton's "E.C. Was Here."

E.C. was Here was Clapton's best blues recording, with the possible exception maybe of some his early work with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers.

Agreed, CC back at ya. I have one of the John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers cd's and it's awesome.

Clapton himself has been quoted as saying that he was "at the peak of his craft" when he was with the BluesBreakers.
