What difference would it of made if it would of been stopped 10 seconds later ?? nothing would of changed Judah was already beaten to a pulp Judah had no complaints so why should you ?? if Judah thought it was bad stoppage believe me a guy like Judah would say if he had a problem with the stoppage but he had no complaints if it would of gone on he could of been seriously injured right stoppage end of.

2 punches off a knockdown is two soon, now if Judah doesnt get out of there, and Cotto keeps tagging him,oh well it happens, and frankly I really dont like Judah. But that was way too soon.
Hell he never would have gotten tagged for the knockdown if hed listened to his corner and started letting his hands go more.
Nope sorry,no fan reaction to that, just a fight fans reaction,I didnt have a horse in the race, other then it had been a GREAT fight
There was a hell of a heavyweight brawl on the undercard of the Adamek fight that got stopped for a cut,no tears on that.
If the referee thinks the fighter is on shaky ground, he might have the guy on a short leash and if he doesn't bounce back quickly, it will be stopped almost everytime.
    2 short of a leash
Speaking of stoppages though, the heavyweight brawl from yesterday in Poland was Preskar/Gathright bit of a suprise considering Gathrights record, but that was a freaking war

Its a fine line to walk tho. You don't know if the guys gonna get up and put on a classic comeback or fall back down and never get up again. Its a tough judgement call. From the fighters stand point of course you wanna go on but from the managers and families view, they'd rather you be safe and be able to fight another day.

    The ref did his job.
    The ref knows Judah.
More distraction it was for Cotto who does not understand English all that well.
But to me that is what a ref is supposed to do. Make sure he is obeyed.
Was this not the same Ref in Judah/Baldomir? It was.
You thought the ref was vocal last night? You should have seen and heard him in the Baldomir/Judah fight. It was rather comical.
I like this ref. He had Zab's number.
No doubt it was Zabs fault for being so effected by it, or just looking for the ref to help out. My point is it probably took both fighters out of their element to a degree. As far as the stoppage and only taking a point away, the ref was on point. It wasn't one of those Vic Draculich matches where he messed the fight up.

But if he was going to cut it that short, why restart it at all.If he didnt like the look in his eyes when he got up,or how he stepped to him, call it there, why allow it to restart, and call it on two punches

I dunno. I think what he did was the best option tho. Give him some time (i realize you think 2 punches was too soon) and see if he can start a comeback but keep him ona short leash so he doesn't have to take a lot of unnessasary hits. Cotto was ahead on the scorecards and was probably about to finish it properly soon anyway.

I like the old rules better. If you can get up, you can fight. Stay down if you don't want to fight anymore.

I don't get what your trying to say here if your on about Corrales vs Castillo that was still an even fight Judah vs Cotto wasn't Judah was taking a beating Corrales was even all the way with Castillo Judah wasn't thats difference Judah had no chance of winning just realize it Judah didn't have no problems im surprised anyone thinks the stoppage was premature.
