Again, we agree, he went down

Like I said, dont pretend he's untouchable

Mayweather's mental attitude won't let him lose to Hatton he's fought better fighters than Hatton in truth this would be Hatton first major test against an elite fighter Kostya and Castillo were past it really or definately faded.

I think he was he only fought once in 23 month due to injurie and he was 35 straight after he basically retires that tells me he was already done.

Less fights than Hatton (so what if he was 35)!!
    No wars!!
And as you said a nice rest with only 1 fight in 2 years !!

I reckon he must've suddenly become Washed up between the Mitchell and Hatton fights

Mayweather is to quick and at welterweight Hatton is like a fish outta water. Oh its on and after this i hope people start giving Floyd his dues although i feel Hatton wont really add to his legacy as people will say all he ever did was beat a shot Castillo (no matter what people say, he only K.Oed Chico cause he was over the weight and he didnt make weight for the 3rd fight) and Kostya Tszyu, he fought him at the right time and he was only looking for his honey punch all night long, but ill give him credit for the win as he proved a lot of people wrong.

Mayweather will beat Hatton silly, he will block Hattons punches and use his speed to slip away from Hattons bare hugs, Hatton will continue to pressue with little effect and will tired around rd 8. You know what i wouldn't be surprised if Hatton came up with some bs not to fight Floyd anyways Mayweather UD but in brutal, economical fashion
Maybe now its time for PBF to STFU and stop talking about how he is the best pound for pound fighter the world has ever seen and actually prove it by fighting a world class fighter. Everyone keeps saying that Hatton is a fish out of water at welterweight when he has only had 1 fight at the weight, yes it was tough going for him but you cant judge a fighter on 1 performance. Yes Floyd is the best defensive fighter around but Hatton will close of the ring and smash Mayweathers body to bits. Mayweather has never faced anyone with Hattons work rate and I dont think he is going to be able to take, he can run but he cant hide!!

No disrespect, please note, no disrespect but this is exactly what Floyd wants and should not be given... Mayweather and his people deviced a business plan or a strategy to get the easiest and still most lucrative bouts out there. So he provokes Ricky talkin about his beer belly and unprofessionalism in between fights, Ricky wins big over a famous Floyd's opponent but fights his usual "Hit ya first and grab till Death do us apart" style and gets foolishly hyped up for a meeting with Floyd... I don't believe that Hatton's people believe he can beat him - Ricky is the better pressure fighter since JCC and has faster footwork and even is more consistent than Pacman but still is a 5'6'' tall, short-armed, tight body, upright natural 140 pounder - suppose Ricky jumps in and hits Floyd first more often than not and then what? Ties him up for 12 rounds? ... Floyd's laughing straight to the bank with this ( Ha ha ha ha ha ha) and I don't wanna see it!

He's fought plenty of worldclass fighters and Mayweather has a great workrate himself and has never run out of gas Ricky has as we all know.

His opponents were that great under scrutiny - and apart from Philips and Hatton how many time did he go to the trenches, to end of being shot after so few fights

This is a fight Hatton has wanted for years. Do you think his mental attitude would let him lose? I personally feel he'll want this more because he respects Mayweather is P4P best, where as Mayweather doesn't respect Hatton and I think he'll take him lightly.

Mayweather doesn't take guys that he feels aren't worthy lightly...he trains to the best of his ability to show them that they never belonged in the ring with him in the first place...remember he called gatti
C-rated...and we saw how lightly he took him...

The one thing that Hatton has that Mayweather doesn't is guts and heart. Everytime I see Mayweather fight and in press conferences, he doesn't seem like he wants it badly, he just thinks that he is the best so he deserves it.

Hatton wants this bad...he will die out there for the win, because his legacy means more to him than it does to Mayweather. He thinks that he has already got it! He may be right...but Hatton wants it more!

Any fighter who climbs through them ropes has heart Mayweather has never had to dig deep and have a war because he's been so much better than his opposition and i can't see it being any different with Hatton.
