Whoa! did he look good tonight.

I mean his jab was there he kept Matthysse at his range and fired off without hesitation. Tho I think the ref. should have stopped it after the 2nd knockdown. But what a brutal KO that was, if Kermit can keep this up and keep his perfomaces constant meaning at the same quality not up and down. I can def. see him giving anyone at 147 a good fight.

How about Cintron vs. Williams? That would make for a good fight.

He's starting to remind me of a young Julian Jackson.

Broad-shouldered Cintron catches most of his opponents with heymakers from different angles cause he has a lot of leverage and athleticism from that 6' tall stance. The Reid, Estrada, Suarez and even the Tony fights were always exciting and he is confident enough to call out Shane - I don't think he can bomb away Shane just like that but it would be a good alternative for him if Shane doesn't get that Floyd fight right away...

Thumping left hook and solid connect, Mathysse was outa there as soon as he got hit yeah... But, P.G.H, how come Shane's gonna stay open like that and wait until Kermit flexes to the side and throws the wide winged shot? Never, I still think Collazo is a better boxer than Cintron...

I agree, one of the best k.o.'s I ve seen for a while. That guy was in Disneyland before he hit the floor; almost criminal how hard he got hit. This division is always bringing something fun. I wonder if now that Margarito lost, will they rematch with Cintron in the near future??

He looked great but the juries still out forme, I would like to see him fight Margarito agains, then I will be able to say whether he has the ability to be a real force at 147.

yeah i want to see him avenge his loss, because he thinks that great victory erased the lost to tony, but no way...he can't beat another guy to erase that lost..he has to be margarito, but i think he's afraid because he called out shane instead of tony....

p.s. shane would stop him...but i give cintron a good shot only because he has manny in his corner now...

I mean Matthyssee does kinda suck, but he is looking better and better.

Just still not sure, I'm gonna have to be convinced that he's not as emotionally fragile as he seemed like he was in the Margarito. He did seem to be more together when Estrada was having some good moments in their fight. Estrada's not elite though, better than some people would say he is and better than Matthysse but not elite.

But he definitely can punch and as much as I don't like the style of fighter Manny churns out, it would probably help him, since he's that type, tall, good puncher.

Why not Cintron-Judah, I still think Judah's a bit overrated but that would be a big test. Or even Cintron-Williams. Cintron might go too defensive against Williams but it'd be a good way to see if he's tougher than he was when he fought Margarito.

OumaFan, Kermit looked like he was recalling all his family drama in a single second when he lost to Tony, hard to understand how come he's gonna be emotionally stable or follow a Game Plan Manny lays out for him but if there's a man/trainer/shrink to help him, Wlad and Jermain out that is Manny alright - Kermit can't box if he's going for the kill in round one and that is exactly what happened against Estrada who also gave Shane a good work-out on the undercard of Tony-Cintron, Ceasers outdoors... I know Manny can work out a game plan and explore Shane's flaws yeah but I think he has to go through Tony and the rematch first, otherwise Tony can still be called menacing, dangerous, that people duck him , whateva... Cintron- Williams? Louie Collazo would beat Puero-Rican fella Kermit, man!
