Mat Skelton is probably the worst technical fighter i have ever seen ,
he smothers his own work , by move to close before he punches , hes dirty , he has no defence ,
he is at least 3.5 stone over weight. All in all i hope Wlad gets him in the ring then that will be the last we will hear of him

I sat through it scrappy, really wish I hadn't... I knew the card would be horrible... my brother didn't seem to understand why I wasn't really fussed about watching it.

I enjoyed the small fight, thought he was stopped slightly too early but he was in danger.

Am I the only boxer here who was watching Skelton and really fancied getting in the ring with them?... :P

only the shocking judging was the best talking point.
We had a American version of that I think it was Taylor - Spinks.
It was bad, but I hated watching Taylor-Spinks more. But maybe that stuck in my mind more because it followed the awesome Pavlik-Miranda fight.

While all our Heavies are shit, David Haye moving up will make it better, and watching Williams when he is in shape is a good thing. If he keeps the weight off, I'll keep watching him.

By the way, why did people thing the draw was questionable. Skelton did about as much as Sprott to win that fight.

This was possibly the worst fight I have seen. The worst exponents of the noble art there have ever been. They made Butterbean look like Sugar Ray Robinson. I truly, truly think that if Frank Bruno at the age he is now, and the fact that he has been out of the ring for 11 years. I would still say a Bruno-Skelton fight would only be 55-45 in Skeltons favour.

A peak Frank Bruno ? He would beat both of these BUMS on there same night. It's funny, the stick Bruno used to get as a fighter, yet these two chumps makes you realise that Bruno was not that bad after all. Look at the fighters who beat him (A peak Tyson, peak Lewis, peak Witherspoon, peak Bonecrusher Smith) Why does T.V still persist in showing these heavyweights when there were great fights on the under card ?
