not really sure if that was the exact weight but i'm pretty sure that Larry Merchant said that DLH was walking around 150 something, and he said it on the Margarito/Williams card, i think at the end of the broadcast

Don't tell me that Marco can't sway Hatton's decision in favor of his boss and promoter DLH, plus DLH/Hatton would put a lot more money in Hatton's pocket,
Advantage two; De La Hoya has said he would like to come and fight at wembley so that would'nt be a problem about where it would take place.

Oscar doesn't deserve this fight at all in last 4 years his record is 2 wins and 3 losses Mayweather vs Hatton is right fight if i was Hatton i wouldn't take the fight.

De La Hoya tkos Hatton.Oscar is to big and powerful for Hatton he is gonna bust him up when he comes rushing in.Only chance for Hatton is if De la Hoya comes in weight drained and Hatton would be able to take that second half of the fight if he makes it that far.Thats how i see it anyway.Bad fight for the Hitman apart from the money he will pick up.

exactly, if Hatton was hurt by Collazo's shots upstairs, and by Urango's body shots, DLH's punches are gonna stop him in his tracks, i'd be so bold to say that DLH would win by the 8th, either by stopping cold, or by stoppage due to cuts and/or swelling on Hatton, either way i don't see Hatton winning unless DLH comes in like Morales did against Pacquiao, completely weight drained

The fight isnt going to happen. Its a silly match up. Why Oscar would be targeting Hatton makes me very cynical! Its not gonna happen.

Is it Oscars new ploy to call out every smaller guy under the sun for a matchup now!

I'm not sure it happens but if it does,it does for 2 main reasons:

1.) Oscar is a huge name,no-one would turn him down and definitely not Hatton who would become well known in stateside just by his name being mentioned with Oscar.

2.) Oscar usually gets to fight the guys he wants. And he knows Mayweather wants Ricky too so he would be "one upping" Floyd.

Oscar saying he can make 147 will only further entice Hatton. I doubted whether this fight could be made too but if Oscar wants to come to 147,then I guess it can be made,

Would anyone be excited about this fight? I don't think I would!

I have no interest whatsover. Oscar has been beaten too often recently and is seriously inactive. At 147 I think Hatton would take him out late if he fights the right fight. Oscar gets tired easily at 154? Then watch him at 147!

Its a fight that proves nothing for either guy though.

Excellant analysis, I see it happening the same way.

My dream is Oscar-Hatton and Mayweather-Mosley with Hatton and Mayweather winning and fighting each other. That would be special
