I Changed My Mind About Tysons Power After Watching Some Of His Fights Again

I think Tyson had great power but IMO Louis was the greatest puncher of all time.
I think Tyson is in at least the top 15 of all time but doesn't crack the top 10 for me. In the top 10 hitters for heavyweights though.
I mean you guys like Langford, Moore, Wild, Saddler, Ketchel, Fitzsimmons, Foreman, Shavers, Oliveras, Gomez, Dempsey, Marciano & Liston who could all rate higher!

Langford, Wild , Moore , Ketchell, Fitsimmons were all light heavyweights . No way they hit harder than tyson . Dempsey wore 4 ounce gloves give me a break . Marciano no way in hell , he never one punched guys it was an accumulation of punches . Liston, foreman and shavers probably hit harder than tyson . But the rest on that list didnt come close to tysons power.

I enjoy a Tyson fight my favorite Tyson fight has to be 2 Ruddock fights because Ruddock forced Tyson to dig deep and they were wars all punches being thrown were power punches i don't think i will ever be a fan but will i enjoy his fights ?? you bet i will.

its strange though that ruddock, holmes and holyfield said that other fighters such as morrison,shavers,foreman punched a lot harder . maybe tysons power is overrated.

Man i can't believe i forgot how much power this man had i hadn't watched his fights for ages and now watching them again wow is all i can say i rate him alot higher in power department the power he knocked my boy Holmes down with was devasting and also the i would say top 3 of all time easy just watch this shot.

I like Tyson and thinks that it was his quick hands rather than his power which KOed his opponents. Great fighter.

For starters Moore has the most KO's ever! Enough said there! Look at Ketchel's KO ratio! P4P which I think Ice Cold was referring to when he sais Tyson was top 3 of all time then Tyson ain't in the mix with these guys! Marciano never one punched? Go watch the 1st Walcolt fight! The other guys I listed are all time great punchers P4P. Tyson's early KO's are deceptive because his opponents were limited at best!
