My worry is that the winner of Pavlik v Taylor will just look at Abraham and think that he doesn't have enough profile in the States to make the fight against him, which is why I think he needs to fight someone with a reasonable reputation in the US before to get the bargaining chips to make the fight v Pavlik or Taylor.
The winner of Mora-Ouma then?
Abraham's problem is that there is actually not that many middleweights around that would both be considered worthy opponents and who has a name in America. It would be too soon for John Duddy and then we are basically left with Winky Wright (if he is coming back to 160), Taylor and Pavlik. Perhaps Giovanni Lorenzo, but he is still pretty green as well. Or he could fight an established veteran like Howard Eastman or Bronco McKart, who both have had pretty solid wins recently. But would he get credit for beating them?
My preferred option would be unification against Sturm. That would give whoever wins a pretty solid bargaining position for an American campaign.
