I hope being on the other side of the fence makes PW respect Margarito even more for giving him a chance when he really didn't have to. PW said he would fight anybody and wanted to unify. If he fights and beats Cintron that sets him up for a bigger name down the road, but people quickly forget where they came from or what they stood for when they see $$$$$.

Have you even seen the fight? Williams dominated the first 6th rounds with out holding. And he took the 12th round as well. Give Margarito the other rounds (were Williams held a little) and it's 7 to 5 Williams. You should attack Hatton as much as you attack Williams

Exactly! I was REALLY surprised by Peterson,PW's trainers comments. How Kermit does not offer anything. PW,after every fight,says his goal is to unify.So why not fight Cintron?? Who else is there to face? If he and Kermit are free,and the fight does not come off,we know who to blame! Heck Manny wants this fight!!! And I re-iterate,PW isn't exactly a big name so if I were him, I'd fight whoever I could!!

By claiming that Cintron isn't a big enough name, he's coming off looking scared, whether he is or not. I agree Williams should keep busy a win over Cintron would be great start this will be exciting fight i will be for certain watching this live if the fight happens im taking Williams by decision because even though Williams throws alot his punches aren't very damaging blows Williams impressed me in Margarito fight he boxed very well i think he has best shot at beating Mayweather.

The clinching wasn't that bad i think your going a bit over the top Willaims won first 6 rounds easy as pie in later rounds there was loads of action and i didn't see that much clinching certainly not anything that i would consider cheating or worth deducting a point for.

And that's the thing, Williams has not commented one way or another. I've no doubts that he'd step into the ring with whatever fighter was put before him, but it is his trainer running his mouth. I hate it when trainers/promoters speak on behalf of their fighter in situations such as these. It can give a false impression of their fighter. The Williams team is miscalculating if they think they can wait out the fall fights and get a bigger money fight next year. I think that is what they are doing. Paul is going to need another impressive win to force the hand of prospective big name opponents. A win over Cintron unifying half of the division would definitely add to his profile and increase his chances of getting a bigger name to fight him.
