I think Tyson already made friends with McBride anyway.

McBride has a huge height / reach advantage, and could frustrate Tyson, but I still think Tyson will take this one. I really don't see this one going the distance either way.

Tyson has battled against taller men all his boxing life. The height & reach will cause no problems whatsoever.

Yes. Tyson is going to back him up and hit him with resounding body shots like he did with Big Brian Nielsen. Then he will finish him up high.

What I meant was, McBride being taller won't cause Tyson a problem. The only thing that would cause him a problem is if, McBum can take a punch, has skill, heart & determination & we all know that isn't so.

I don't think McBride will have a good enough jab to frustrate Tyson and keep him on the outside. I'm sure Tyson has been working on closing the gap to smother McBride inside.

I can't help but think of the Buster Douglas fight when I think of this one going into the later rounds. Mike couldn't get inside without walking into punches.

two words for you, killer jab, that's something McBride doesn't have, Bowe in the day would have destroyed Tyson and then nobody would have cared about the Lewis fight

I'd love McBum to try & break Tyson's arm in a clinch, or bite his ear, just before he gets his ass kicked!

At the end of the first round (if there is a second round), maybe Tyson should twist his arm while pushing him in the face like he did with Botha?

tyson has all the ability to knock out all the heavyweight contenders out there.
all that lacks is the motivation and mental strength which he had in the 80's.(wow, so long ago).

no doubt, he has lost some of his speed and his punches, though still harder than most people, doesnt appear to be as hard as it was back then either.

if u look at his old fights, not only does a single punch send his opponents flying across the ring but his opponents seem to be very very shocked at his power aswell. look at their faces.

an uninterested tyson to ko mcbride in 3 rounds. A motivated and determined tyson to win in 2.
hopefully tyson will show some of his old combinations.
