No one has said anything close to that its just Mayweather has fought swarmers before and it didn't work Hatton doesn't carry the power at 147 he wasn't able to bully Collazo or move him with his punches Hatton was the one rocking not Collazo and Mayweather is quicker than Collazo has better punching technique and hits harder and much better defence if Hatton can do it good for him but honestly don't think he will i think a fighter like Mosley who is just as fast as Mayweather has very good chance or a very tall fighter with good boxing skills and non stop punching has very chance also against mayweather aka Williams.
ICB Hatton underestimated luiz a lot and he therefore didnt try as best. In hattons mind right now if u were told to move up to fight collozo u would think hes some bum that nobody has heard of but that was far from the case. In floyd ricky knows this is the biggest fight of his life therefore he wont take any risks and train like no other. I just feel ricky will have his fight on that night and work Floyd into a difficult fight. It will be tough for both men and the person whos going to win will have to show greater heart IMO. you tell me who floyd who has floyd beaten who is better than ricky ? ( im going to bed soon so be quick in your reply )
Ricky wasn't quite at his best but he still wasn't able to bully or move Collazo at welterweight Hatton was the one getting rocked.

Well no one at the moment but there are similar boxers to Hatton that Mayweather has fought Chavez, Castillo,

Chavez fought like a man possessed throwing over 100 punches in most rounds he short in heigh like Hatton and tried swarming tactic like Hatton but Mayweather was able to make him miss alot and sit down on his punches and really hurt Chavez i think Hatton will be suprised by Mayweather's power he thinks he will able to walkthrough his shots but Mayweather has the kind of power to make you respect him and Hatton is going to get busted up imo.

Difference is Mayweather has fought similar fighters to Hatton he knows what to expect Hatton has never fought slick defensive skilled fighter like Mayweather.
My opinion on the Luiz fight was that :1) Hatton thought he was going to knock him out early because of the first round knockdown. This wasnt the case at all because we know Luiz has a good chin. 2) He had never fought at 147 and he wasnt fully prepared for the fight. 3) He thought that Luiz would be a complete walkover... this wasnt the case, Shane Mosley knew this and fully prepared for it and fought a good fight and won convincingly. 4) Luiz is a natural welterweight therefore Ricky doesnt have any advatages on that front and he was a southpaw and we know Ricky struggles with them. 5) It just wasnt Rickys night, it can happen you will get a bad night occasionally and with all the other disadvantages i have stated this was bound to be a tough fight for ricky. But dont forget ICB at the end of the day it was a success because he won the fight and became a two time world champion right?

The difference for this floyd one is 1) Ricky knows for a fact that he is the best p4p fighter and therefore will be training his F****** a** off the most he has ever done for a fight because he knows it will be his hardest one so far. 2) Floyd unlike Luiz isnt a natural welterweight therefore Ricky will be able to put floyd on the back foot a lot more that him because he doesnt have any natural weight advantages etc. 3) The fact that these two men hate each other will surely pump Ricky and floyd to fight thier best. For the Luiz fight this wasnt the case what so ever. We have waited for Floyd-ricky for years and it will finally come. 4) This is Rickys chance to finally shut peoples mouths, ie with the weight issue, about him not fighting the best he can fight and proving to us that he is the best in the world. This fight will not only be Rickys hardest fight, but its a fight for pride as well. He knows that if he loses he loses his undefeated record and he will always feel i could have done that much better.

Ill be honest and say yes i think floyd is an amazing fighter and will be by far his hardest fight to date. But at the end of the day floyds a man and he can be beaten! Although hes better than everyone else there must be something that he cant handle and i think it will be hattons body attack. If Hatton can slow him down i dont think floyd can run for 12 rounds if this is what he plans to do. Because Ricky Hatton is not S***, hes an undeafted world champion and he will catch Floyd. Ricky knows that floyds defence is amazing, but at the end of the day there is only so much he can do without being caught. I can tell you this if Ricky catches floyd with a body shot like he did against Castillo he will go down! That was a perfect shot and it's possible he could end the fight like he did against Castillo.

im thinking if Hatton can fight like he did that night with Castillo and land a body shot assults he can stop him. If not im thinking a Floyd hard fought UD.

That is the best posting I have yet seen from you.

    Very impressive
CC back Miles, I just feel there were a lot of reasons why the 147 campaign for Hatton wasnt so good, thats why i was so gutted when he went back but that another story. Lets just hope he wins the fight.

Yep Chavez was hitting elbows and shoulders and having his shots picked off... for every one punch Chavez landed Mayweather would Murder him with 2-3 especially those uppercuts

Good vid, Chavez was a gamer. Don't know why they stopped it though, he didn't looked too banged up. I think Hatton hits harder, but you're right, that's pretty much the way it will go, though I expect Ricky's face to look like a lawnmower ran over it by the time it's over. Either way, give him credit for stepping up and it should be a fun fight, no shame in losing to the best!! CC
