You'r right about that last statement ICB. This all points to one thing. Both fighters are gonne get FWOKED UP big time. The question is, who makes it to the finish line. I love these kinds of match ups!!!!

He has never been able to rise up on the big stage and his breakdown is almost programmed to happen in each fight. Yet despite all that...he still had one of his best showing against Cotto until he finally flamed out. Mosley is a completely different beast than Zab. He is obviously a tremendous and highly skilled athlete...but more than that...he is a great tremendous competitor. THIS is the fight that will prove what Cotto is made of and can handle. It will be by far his toughest fight. But I just don't see Cotto doing anything better than Shane...skill, speed, chin, power, etc. The only advantage Cotto has is his age. So unless Shane grows old in this fight...i see him winning.

By the way...the whole Cotto using his jab to win and frustrate is a bit ridiculous to me. Shane had major problems against Winky and Forrest. Those two fighters had great range and where technically great fighters. Cotto's length and jab aren't great enough to be the deciding factor.

Then I'm sure you'll be the first one to post a comment on NOV 11th and say "I was wrong and doubted Cotto's skills." Nearly everybody sees Cotto as just a brawler and a left hook body puncher. The man can box if he has to. Obviously he never has because he is always the stronger fighter and he knows he has to attack. With Mosley, he knows that Mosley posseses KO power and that is why he will use his jab and be catious early in the fight. Not all night long, enough to frustrate Mosley.

Let me say right here that having seen many of Cotto's fights, the Judah victory is not were I give him credit. I actually have felt for a long time that this guy has the ability to be the P4P best in the world. I think he'll beat Mosley. I'm from the UK...and I'm flying out for this fight. Thats how much I believe in his ability.

I can't see why Cotto is the betting favourite for this. I reckon Shane's fast hands and ring savvy will decide the fight.

I've been waiting for a long time too for Cotto to finally get his props. I think he should've already but knowing the boxing media and critics they always find something wrong. I'm sure after he beats Mosley we will begin to hear excuses that he beat up an old Mosley. That Mosley wasn't the same Mosley as before.

Not many people here know that Cotto is actually left handed in everything he does with the exception of boxing. He posseses power in both hands and that is why he switches to southpaw during fights. His right jab is just as effective than his left. He will switch many times stances throughout the bout and use his jab to confuse Mosley. He won't jab all night, but enough to keep Mosley from throwing his overhand right with consistency.

Totally agree BZKFN and EliJr, I think most people only jumped on the Cotto bandwagon/saw him from the Torres fight, maybe the Corely fight so they won't recall the Cotto that used to fight off the backfoot, the Cotto that some analysts used to say was far far too relaxed and needed to up the pressure and put his foot down!!!

How things change, the guy is a wrecking machine now but my point is,he's made out to be some guy that just walks forward etc and has nothing else. He does. He has multiple dimensions to his game and slowly is joining them together.

I want to see him utilise his jab,his switch hitting(which is not just for show but is dam effective ) and his straight right hand along with his left hooks. Earlier in his career,he used his right alot more,I'd like to see him make use of it here, surprise people inclduing Shane who is most likely primalrily going to prepare for the left hooks.
