^ thats what I meen by double standards. He can't cope with the fact that his country is no longer the boxing super power that it once was...

If Americans fight in there backyard they get credit?

If Britons do the same they don't?

(yes I understand analogy... you're hiding behind that piss poor comeback because I exposed your analogy as being poor... your basiclly saying that if a runner never leaves his country then he is not as fast... does boxing have a Leage?... no its global... there is no segregation... once your pro you fight any one in the world... its hate to rate teams from different leagues world wide... its alot easier with boxers... )

They don't have to convince me to go down in European boxing history.

Seriously, who the f9ck am I in boxing besides a casual american boxing fan?

    But that's not the point.

Euros get mad at me when I say I'm not convinced on Joe because he stays in Europe hiding behind his Green tea cup collection.

Roy Jones never went to Europe to fight, but why does European fighters recognize him as one of the greats?

If I was a NBA fan, do you think I would accept some European basketball player overseas that's supposely is great according the media and fans there?

Beat Taver and Winky/Taylor and I will be convinced. That's all that I ask of him.
Egg-head, the prime is in Europe not in the US. Both talenth and money

    Who's saying double standard?

Since, Roy Jones never fought outside the US and never came to Europe to fight great European fighters, and for that you were never convinced on Roy Jones, then that's fine with me.

I have never said Joe wasn't a good fighter. I said in order for him to convince ME (not you, not brits, not mexico), to convince ME, he has to come to the US and fight a top American fighter.

What is so hard to understand about that?

I have never said that's the same for Americans, although America is the biggest stage for boxing.

Stop judging me and categorizing me with the other American Fans.

I WOULD ACTUALLY LOOK DOWN ON JOE IF HE DID... KIDS NOT READY AND HE KNOWS THAT. MANFREDO HAS BALLS. BUT BALLS ALONE DONT WIN FIGHTS. CALZAGHE SHOULD CONTINUE TO UNIFY OR MOVE UP.

Although I would love to see Calzaghe unify the titles...it's hard to cry about what he's done.

He did just dominate the top force in the SMW this year...but everyone wants to discount Lacy now.

    Bullshat!

I think you've said enough Froggystyle...
(I was convinced with Roy Jone's 'mate')

Who's catagorizing you? most american fans have given JC credit... I don't put people in groups, my opinion of you comes from the shite you post...

Nothing is hard to understand about the statement you said except that it wasn't your original point ("OK brits")
It also doesn't help you case that you are an record as saying that if a British fighter beat the top fighter in America you would give up watching boxing (I hope Ricky does win so you do give up being a FIGHT FAN) simply because a you don't like the idea of a European champ because he's from Europe...

    Hey, stupid moron.

How can American fans accept someone who doesn't fight in America?

when the fuck did I say if a runner doesn't run in our country he's not fast? Running is timed and it's the standard for all. You don't box someone and measure that against others. Shut the fuck up........you talking about flaw in my analogy? Just like your analogy no analogy is perfectly matched to the example. It's using a certain topic or theory to compare it to another.

Let me use your runner analogy. Ok, let's say there was a guy in Africa who claims to be the best 100 meter runner.Nobody from the Us has heard of him and never seen him run live in their country. They want to see him run live and see for themselves. He beats other people in Africa and he beats mediocore runners from the America that travels to Africa. There are atleast 2-3 top runners in the US he can run against. But he refuses to come to America for whatever reason. Everybody knows America is known for top track and field sprinters. So what not come and beat the top guys?

Does this mean Joe isn't a good fighter? No
Does this mean Joe is scared? No
But can I accept somebody that doesn't want to come out of his element and fight the top guy here? No
