Barrera v. Rocky Juarez

Interesting POV. Juarez definitely seems stronger to me. Nothing would make me happier than to see the crybaby king Barrera get beat. But then again, this is boxing, and Barrera is a much better technical boxer than this kid.

Whats up guys? Im new to the forum. I think if Juarez can avoid too much body punishment and not get countered all night he may give MAB some trouble he is probably the harder puncher with good boxing skills.

How did Barrera come to be called the 'crybaby king'? Juarez will be a walk in the park for MAB,unless he has dramatically improved or Barrera gets hit by a car on his way to the arena. Barrera is smart and skilled; Juarez is not smart and his skills are, to paraphrase Mike Tyson, primitive.

I think if Juarez has fast enough hands to hit MAB back if he gets countered he may win by ko but MAB has better boxing skills, I have seen some of Juarez is fights and he tends to throw lunging leaping right hands, all though they may be hard, but he wont catch MAB with those, but I see MAB giving the kid a boxing lesson through 12. MAB UD

It depends which Barrera turns up.

If the boxer Marco Antonio Barrera turns up, he wont have a problem

If Barrera turns up for a war, he is open to anything. But then again, Barrera is more than capable of finishing Rocky.

I've only seen Rocky have trouble from one type of fighter, and thats the ones who are naturally bigger than him. But you've never seen him in there with a technician like Barrera. Can't wait for this one though, could go either way - o the anticipation.

Again,agreed KK,MAB should be given credit for fighting this dangerous Juarez who has nothing to lose and everything to gain and also,it would set up a rematch with Pac nicely,rather than jumping stright into the deep end. How does Juarez power compare to Pacquiaos?

juarez and pacquiao share one common opponent in hector velasquez wherein rocky won a 12 rd. ud while pac stopped him in 6 rds. manny clearly is bigger and stronger than juarez but one just couldn't be too confident against a well prepared rocky juarez.
