i would have to go back and watch the fight again to give the exact rounds and scores but i remember feeling as though pavlik was up at the time of the stoppages. i pretty suprised at how the judges had scored the fight for taylor.

at first i had pavlik as the one in front..

but when i saw some of the stats, i thought of the fight, in a different way..

its so easy to say, he was the agressor and throwing more punches.. because of that, it looks like he is dominating, BUT..

you tend to forget about the defensive aspects of the fights, making your opponent miss, throwing less and landing more, and after that i had taylor up by 2-3 points, at the end of round 6.. up until the ko, taylor was doing much better then i expected..

they landed the same amount of punches, but the fact is, that taylor just threw less and avoided more.. eventhoug his defence wasnt especially co-ordinated, he made pavlik miss hell of a lot of punches, which is also a part of scoring fights.

    I had Pavlik up 57-56.

I had Taylor with a 10-8 in Round 2, and a 10-9 in Round 5. All the other rounds were 10-9 Pavlik.

57-56 Taylor would have been an understandable card as well.

So you were changed by stats?
Your eyes did not decieve you. Kelly was tattoing Taylors azz. Did you see Taylors face?
You are going to tell me that Taylor's face was swollen by the air that was surronding him? LOL He was getting tagged hard and he has a very tough chin. He was getting shaken by lot's of Kelly's shots and little by little they took their toll.

The refs were being payed to score the fight for Taylor, that was obvious. Too bad for Taylor because he was knocked the phuk out.

After the fight, Pavlik took those score cards and wipped his ghostly white azz with them.

    LMAO!

Taylor was denied from stealing yet another fight.

    Hallelujah!

I wonder what Taylors face would have looked like had he not had this superior defense you are reffering to. That same defense was the one that allowed him to get knocked the phuk out.

my opinion is call the fight as you see it. stats can be very miss leading sometimes and dont always tell the truth about the fight

The punchstats did tell the truth about this fight though. Very close fight, i had pavlik up by 1 after 6 rounds.

That's exactly how I saw it, I also could completely understand anyone who had Taylor up by 1 round.
