I just read in Boxing News today that 'aparently' a fight with IBF champ Aurthur Abraham would be bad business

    How is this
Probably because Abraham hits hard as hell & the fight would most likely have to happen on Abraham's turf & terms & in Germany you nearly got to KTTFO!!

This is all Sven Ottke's fault

Na, i get it. Pav would probably have to sell himself short to make the fight. Not worth it. Yada yada yada.

    Bad business indeed :P

It would be bad business. Why do we expect fighters who have busted their asses for year to get at or near the top a chance to take care of themselves. If Pavlik follows up Duddy with Mora, then fights a borderline 154 beltholder (say Alcine or even Forrest) we can give him crap.

And it won't matter anyway, cuz he will beat Abraham if they end up fighting, be it now or two fights from now.

That may not be it...but it'd be my best guess.

I just can't see Pavlik going over there & getting a fair shake much less a decent split even though he's a double titlist (WBC & WBO) & Abraham just holds the IBF strap.

at this point i think pavlik has the clout to make abraham fight here in america.... either way pavlik would knock him out... and arthur hits hard it would be a good fight.....

since arthur fought miranda with huge determination and sturm basically beat de la hoya i dont think either will be afraid of pavlik....
