Yo,I've never been too fond of Juan for some reason but I respect him for what he does. Was it exciting? I'm downloading it now Good on you Ouma,I remember discussing Jaun with you AGGGGES ago and you were high on him then, before he became more well known.

I'm were you are on Juan...but tonight he definently changed my opinion.

It was a great fight & I wish that I had done a RBR on it. That kid's so damned accurate, busy, & his workrate just blows my mind. Yeah...it was exciting.

Exciting is an under statement his workrate is just fwocken jaw dropping how he cans throw 8 punch combos and then comeback with a 3 punch combo and keep this up for 7 fucken rounds.

Oh my word?! Dang!!!!!? WTF was that>?? Diaz is a MACHINE!!!! That was the most intense pressure I've seen!! 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 punch combinations! Jab! Decent defence! The pace was insane. You could see the look in Julio Diaz face after round 2,when he was in his corner,he seemed to look shocked, taken back! And although I still don't think Juan is massive puncher,he is a good, clean, crisp puncher who puts them together well, head and body. And with his style,he's always going to be in exciting fights!

This youngster has a bright bright future ahead of him. BTW,out of interest because since I've been a boxing fan,I don't remember this happening but what if Juan beats David Diaz and has the 4 main belts, but Joel is the supposed RING champion, who do we call champ?

I know alot of you guys support the Ring magazine so I thought I'd ask. Personally, the 4 titles are tangible objects, things I can see,I mean some fighters don't even know about the RING titl etc so I'd say Juan is the true champ.

Of course, we will call Joel as the champ if Juan doesn't fight him next. That's what you call ducking.LOL.

That dude might be my favorite fighter, he's definitely up there. I mean he throws 6 and 7 punch combos regularly

the thing that sets him apart from other volume punchers is the handspeed and his defense isn't that bad.

Casamayor's the obvious fight, Juan would beat the piss out of David Diaz, that's not even really worth scheduling. I could see Juan's managers wanting to take other fights like Pac than Casa though, Casa looked a bit past it against Corrales last time and its just not even worth discussing what people will say if Juan beats him, people that would favor Casa before the fight would give him no credit, they'll just say Casa's past it. Which I think he is a bit but he's still a dangerous guy and its the fight that should be made.

Pac would be an interesting fight too, he's turned into a big 130 pounder so I don't think the move to 135 would be that bad for him.

    Jusan Diaz is awesome.

Casa is a dangerous guy but I agree about Casamayor. I think Diaz would beat him at this point.

Really want to see Pacquiao - Diaz

Juan Diaz - Anthony Peterson is going to be an amazing fight when that happens and you have to think it will.

oh shit I forgot about that, I remember thinking about that a while ago.

I'm a big fan of both guys, not even sure I want it to happen.

that would be hella interesting stylewise though, with Juan forcing the pace, Anthony covering up and ripping hooks and uppercuts.

As much as I like the Petersons its time for them to start stepping up the opposition a bit, not a Juan Diaz stepup yet but maybe a Julio Diaz or somebody like that.

I got a new favorite at lightweight, you cant help but love the way this kid fights. He really does live up to his nickname baby bull. He is a pressure volume puncher, but he can also throw a stiff jab when he needs to. All around fighter.

Agreed. I've been watching him all the way up...but for some reason he never really stuck with me.

I'm not sure what it is about him that I could'nt adjust to either. He does all the shit that I really dig in a boxer...but something never clicked with me on him. Watching him go head to head with Lakva Sim was when I knew that he really had something special & then the way that he handed Cotto his first defeat was a starting point...but last night REALLY REALLY nailed it for me.

I really never thought that he would force Julio into a bail out situation.

Pretty shocking because he's a tuff customer.

BTW did anybody else just think who gives a shit when they brought out RJJ and Tito to hype their fight.

    I can't think of a fight I'm anticipating less.

That would be the goriest fight of all time, Katsidis would get stopped on cuts I'm almost 100% positive.
