Illuminated, you are not the first one to complain about the rules and scoring. I have received more than one PM about them since I was handed control of the comp.

I didn't write the rules I simply took over were Memphis and Fenster left off. In fact, I'm not sure if they wrote the rules or someone else did.

When I was given the gift of overseeing the comp I loved so much I was very happy. I'm sure any of you would be. I had always done well under the scoring and rules so I saw no need to change them.

I was wrong to assume that everyone would read the rules before they started to play.

I think the 7 6 2 rule is perfect. It's a gamble. If you are greedy and want that extra point for a UD then you deserve to get a 2 when it turns out to be a SD.

The scoring that I think is a bit off is 10 points for a SD. I think it should be 15 just like a correct round KO.

I read the rules when I invited to partcipate in the comp and I played around them. I've never been a big protester really. I just go with the flow.

If Saddo wants to help change the rules next go round that is fine by me, but I don't want the soul responibilty of trying to please everyone.

I also don't want to fix it until it is broke. At some point you have to say these are the rules and just play the game.

This I say we've played with these rules from day 1, the rules have slightly been tweeked here and there as far as points and when fighters fight a different opponent other then that it's all a gamble!
We played it like this last season and we've playing it like this all this season if your bound to win you'll win.

At this point it is hopeless, unless WelshDevilRob loses his internet you all might as well booze it up too. I will just continue to Booze it up but try to get some momentum going for the next season.....

I don't complain coz I know how hard it is to be moderating this game. It's like having no vacation at all.

I continue to join this game coz it makes me happy to make predictions. If I'm wrong then that's it.No need for whining and discrediting the game.

I'm still excited about trying to make a top 3 finish. I f I can catch trainer monkey and finish behind Rob and No contest in my first season I'd be happy.
