Ah, Taan. Still trying to give himself he's a big man. You wanna hang for a drink? We can for a drink. There's 35ers Pasadena. There's "The Cave" in Highland Park. David & Busters in Santa Anita. A whole bunch of places. Pick one.
Not bothered mate. Drank in bars all over the world. Your local is fine with me. Please make sure they have imported beer though. I'm not allowed Lite Beer due to me having a pair of bollocks and penis longer than 5 inches.

You can drink as much as you want though, boy.

Than Gordon Biersch is the place for you. There's one in Pasadena and Burbank. It's a German place brews it's own beer. They got all kinds of imported beer. I prefer the one in Burbank. They better looking women there. You do like women, don't you? If not, than your on your F****** own.

Sorry i missed all the trash talk there

As usual i'm backing Ricky, People are claiming the size differential will detrementally affect the Hitman, but Mayweather started out smaller so that theory is discounted.

I don't expect Ricky to engage in exchanges that much, as Floyd does have excellent handspee and accuracy. If i was Hatton preparing for this i'd practise leaning upon the opponent when in the clinches, and hitting him on the hips and shoulders, anything to slow mayweathers mobility.

I envisage a welterweight version of Ali Frazier 1, with some more holding and perhaps more dirty tactics.

when i make predictions, if i am right then im spot on, if im wrong, then i mustnt have known much about the other fighter.

i predicted the oscar mayweather fight spot on.

in this case i know both hatton and mayweather very well. and all i can say is that they BOTH are gonna get a shock of their lives. richards gonna find out floyd isnt an ordinary orthodox boxer, he uses the shoulder roll/crab defense style whiich allows him to fight inside very well and off the ropes.
on the other hand ricky isnt the typical slugger, ricky fights at a 100 mph, great, fast footwork and good power. floyd HASNT EVER fought anyone like him, not even chavez, ricky uses subtle head movements to get in close and his work rate is next level. they both gonna be absolutely jiggered, the one who is mentally stronger and digs that extra deep will win! i cant make a prediction on this fight, maybe later but its too close to call.

If he (Hatton) does win, you will look like an even bigger cunt.
When Mayweather wins (no If, when) a lot of Hatton's pussy ass fans (you especially) will probably not come on this site for a very long time.
I'll be here and I'll have my opinions afterwards, one thing I won't do is be shy, I'll be calling it like I see it, if Mayweather gets his ass whooped then no one call any excuses, cos I won't if Hatton gets beat.

Ah, if confidence alone won fights.

Mike Tyson wouldn't have gotten his first two losses. Sure, Hatton is actually in shape, unlike Tyson, but the fact that he believes in himself doesn't change too much. Allan Green believed in himself until Edison Miranda smacked him around a couple times. Then his "colon" was bothering him. James Toney would have a perfect record. Jeff Lacy wouldn't have crossed the pound just to hand his belts over to Joe Calzaghe.

I don't give Hatton ZERO chance. Any fighter has the potential to beat any other fighter by landing THAT punch. But how does Mayweather take him lightly by Hatton's criteria? (Paraphrasing) he's a strong kid, high work rate, lots of punches, body punches, fought 500 matches... is there any more to him than that? Does he fly? Is he armor-plated? Is there ichor in his veins? If Mayweather goes into their match with those things in mind he's taking Hatton for exactly what he is and pedigree against pedigree points to Mayweather in a landslide.

I know that there are a lot of Brits on here who are backing Hatton to win this one, and I admit that I'd like to see him do it too, but I really feel he's bitten off more than he can chew with Mayweather.

Even if Mayweather comes in there looking complacent, he can switch on his elusive style pretty quickly and bring his movement into play, and I really feel that Mayweather will be too good for Hatton to catch often enough to trouble him. Hatton will look to close him down, and look to walk through punches to get on the inside and attack Mayweather, but I just think Mayeweather will draw him in a pitter-patter him with short punches, then scoot before Hatton can make his mark.

But it's good to see Hatton sounding like he can do it, and hopefully I'm proved wrong come fight night.

Overall how can you dislike hatton, but everyone is confident and thinks they can win...then the bell rings and floyd is faster than they thought, frustrating to hit, has better defense than they thought etc....having a huge heart and confidence going into a fight is great but if your skills arent up to the task...then all that flies out the window and just means you can take more punishment for longer. I'm still kinda torn on who i want to win but who's gonna win has never been a question at least in my eyes. Just my opinion but come fight night i'll be applauding both as they come down to the ring.

Excellent post. I'm a lot more partisan than you, in that I'm a huge fan of Ricky. That said, this is the first time I've really thought he would lose. I had my doubts with Kostya, but with Mayweather, I just think that he is one of the few fighters of his generation who is genuinely top ten of all time. Still think Ricky is great, however, and still want him to knock Floyd's head off.

I go back & forth on whether or not Hatton's gonna have a chance or not.

Being a Floyd fan I can honestly say that now would be the time to crack his bubble. He aint been the most focused of boxers lately & that shows on even the greatest in the game.

Hatton's pressure style may get the best of Floyd if he aint 100%...but I still go back to Floyd's movement & defense frustrating Hatton.

'Frustrating' is the right word. I don't see Mayweather knocking Ricky out, but I just see him being too quick, too slick and too powerful. With the last one, I mean two things. He has the power to discourage Ricky, and it will be difficult to move him around the ring to get him into postition for the punch that Hatton can land better than anyone. Still more fascinating than any other fight this year, and that speaks volumes for both fighters.

Comments like that annoy me and are just typical of fanboys. Ok so how will Ricky win, and how do u come to the conclusion that PBF has no chance?

He never said that PBF had no chance, he simply said that Hatton would definitely win. A bold statement, but the kind that keeps these forums going.
