LOL Im just bustin on ya....Never take me serious about stuff like that....Actually Moorer Vs Jones would be a good fight...Like I said though...Not sure if it was one Roy would have taken willingly.....If it did ever take place the only thing in question on how long the fight would last is....Could Moorer deal with Roys speed?....Second Roy hit pretty damn hard so I don't know how many times Moorer could hold up to Roy catching him flush?.....Though Moorers chin at LHW was much better then at HW....

The big thing though was his not so great competition.Leslie stewart,Frankie swindell (who had moments in career) and Ramzi Hassan not exactley all stars.Moorer did what you should do with Fighters below your level and destroyed them.I just dont think we ever saw Moorer at his top potential at Lt.Hvy.That said Ive had a life time commitment to Never Pick Jones in Nattas/Nil/Nothing so Moorer in a Hypothetical KO win

Valid points but like I said could he deal with ROYS spedd...I wirte Roy's in bold because he was very very fast and with speed comes power......IMO the southpaw stance would not be a problem for Jones since it would be Moorer who would be trying to figureout how to seal with Roys ring generalship....You can't KO what you can't catch?

I got Ya Daxx.Roy was all angels and Lightning speed.I always thought he had "shocking"Power so FAST it short circuited Opponents and he would lull you into Thinking you were making progress but he was really picking his spots to hit you with those sharp shots that seemed to buzz the hardest of chins.
Its all hypothetical and We all know at Hvy how vulnerable Moorers chin was.Though he was no where near as aggresive as he was at Lt.Hvy........Sedillo "sorta " buzzed him for a second but I believe that was it.Speed kills......thats a fact Moorer would certainly find out how good he was at Lt.Hvy vs. Jones......He may not like it though.I plead the 5th here.

I question Roy chin after what Taver did but he was past it but he was destroyed. As for Moorer he was Destroyed by Tua but Tua i would say hit harder then Taver but i do not know if that is a good comparison when talking about there chins but there it is.

Agreed...good way to describe Jones shots as Shocking.....Thats exactly what they were

good match .. both men were exceptional at 175. maybe the southpaw advantage gives moorer the edge ?

Yea i just going on how he disposed of them you can only fight who is in front of you pulse alot of people did not want to face him. Tell you the truth i think Spinks would be the guy to beat Roy but Moorer i think could pull it off Roy chin can be shaky.

Moorer's chin was also very shaky to say the least.

Yea but look at the punchers he faced compared to the punchers Roy face there is a huge difference between them. One thing to get knocked out by Taver and Johnson compared to Tua, Holyfeild and then a very hard hitter even when he got old Foreman.

The move from LHW to HW hurt Jones badly....He was to old to put his body through the transition, no matter how great a fighter is there is a time when the body can not do such things anymore....At his peak Jones destroys Tarver and Johnson and the KO's would have never happened...Believe me they had nothing to do with a soft chin

I was talking about Moorer getting decked by Everett Martin and twice by Bert Cooper and he was also shaken badly against Alex Stewart Roy Jones Jr in his prime was never rocked or hurt once he was knocked down only once in his prime but it was flash knockdown and that was against Lou Del Valle Roy Jones beat Hall Of Famers and made them look like they should be in different sport Moorer is more of *What could of been* his opposition at Lightheavyweight was nothing to shout about Moorer had power and would be dangerous but i still feel Jones would pick Moorer apart with his excellent Reflexes, Speed, and Timing.

Yet again ice guys that are 230 when they fought Moore and both with high KO percentages that does not say much about his chin at LH.
