To stand and trade with Hearns was viewed as Boxing suicide, he survived and came through!
Also, his win over Mugabi and the fact he was nevr legitiamtely knocked down.
    2) Jake LaMotta
Never down, in a career that contained fights with SRR, Marcel Cerdan and a guy called o'neill bell!!!
    3) James Toney
I really don't like Toney, but any guy who starts at around 11st and can take punches from heavies makes my list!
    4) Bernard Hopkins:
Justification really isn't needed by me, his fights speak for themselves, rarely knocked down.
    5) Wayne McCullough:
For many he should be higher on the list, but the other hopped more weights, still Wayne could stop traffic with that skull.
    6) Muhammad Ali:
He was down, but i found that was mainly due to balance/fatigue. The Greatest took phenomenal punishment in the latter half of his career and was never stopped nor retired of his own free will.
    7) Julio Caesar Chavez
In his division it's common to see guys hit the deck a lot, but Julio blatantly refused to go down on many occasions.
    Joe Frazier:
With the exception of the Foreman fights, it seemed like you had to shoot joe in order to stagger him, he literally had to be lifted off his feet to be put down!!!
    9) Harry Greb.
A warrior king in an age of warriors, from what iv seen and researched of this guy he was pretty hard to hurt!
    10) Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Although a defensive fighter he's been tagged by some of the best in the game and he remained unfazed, great chin.

    Honorable mentions,
    Evander Holyfield.
Gerald McClellan: took Julian Jacksons bombs!
Im big Mayweather fan but no way he deserves to be on this list.

    Neither does Frazier.
Well it's all opinion, but i saw a Floyd highlight last week of some of the occasions where he did get hit, he took punishment from Castillo, got tagged by Corrales, Chavez, De la Hoya, once or twice by Baldomir, by ZAb a decent amount and a whole heap at his initial weight and i just thought, whats the point YYou get past the guard and then he's got a damn good chin behind that!!!

thats a good point. the best way to have a good chin is not to use it up..

mayweather biggest asset is he's got naturalness. natualrness cant be taught.. that is an advantage floyd will always have over 99% of the other fighters

ricky will need to maul like a mutherfuk . pyhsically create oppertunities , get to that body .in order to have any chance at all. .

Correct, some boxers have a rhythm about them that makes the physical part easy, as if they're dancing to beautiful music....
Floyd has it,SRR had it, Ali had it, Sugar Ray Leonard had it....it's a special attribute which is incredibly valuable to the holder...
